Hi everyone, I feel a jerk when pressing the accelerator at low speeds in my axio 2008. This often happens when car is traveling at about 10 - 30 kmph and when i take the foot out of the accelerator and then start again to accelerate. Just when i start to accelerate car jumps a little. I also found a same thread with this problem here. http://autolanka.com/forums/topic/13402-toyota-axio-jerkingvibration-problem/ This is kind of exactly my problem too. But unfortunately i couldn't find an answer there. I took it to two mechanics and they couldn't say anything exactly and they suggests things like engine tune-up. Is there anyone who faced the same problem ? what could this be ?

Dear Experts, I purchased a 2008 nissan tiida few months back, 2nd owner car with all the records and the vehicle user manual. This is a CVT model. I've been experiencing a strange power steering malfunction ever since. (This has Electric Power Steering). As soon as I purchased the car I did all the required suspension repairs from my mechanic as well. Now coming to the issue, When I start driving the power steering works fine and the steering feels light. (But it is anyway kind of stiff in the middle position which I did not experience driving other cars with EPS, such as Honda Fit,) But after driving for about half an hour the steering gets stiff and does not return after a turn at all which kind of really annoying and I have to straight the steering by force. When the journey is done and the car is stopped, (means if I drive it again after maybe an hour, not right away) the steering starts to feel light again and steering return functions is also better. And again the same thing happens after sometime. Any expertise advise on this issue from veterans and tiida users? I chose tiida for better cabin room than others in it's class, if this is an unsolvable issue should I look for an alternative car? Thanks. Casanova.

My brother recently brought Suzuki Swift 2008 (DBA-ZC71S. 1300CC) and there are some things to clarify. 1. When AC on the radiator fan noise is noticeably very very high is this normal of this model? 2. Engine heat is very very high more than other similar capacity cars (But heat gauge needle is in the center always). I used to own a Chevrolet Cruze and engine is M13A which also on Swift beetle older models never heat this much. (DBA-ZC71S has different engine and i need to clarify is this normal for this model? After 1/2 hour drive cannot even touch the bonnet stand. Fuel consumption is 6 to 8 without heavy traffic. I feel that there is some issue on cooling fan or engine cooling system. Any expert or Swift owners please reply me. Thanks

About 3 months ago I bought a Suzuki Swift 2008 1240cc CVT model. recently there was a small oil leak (more like oil vapor) through the tappet cover. When I remove the tappet cover to fix this problem I saw there is engine oil sludge. (Refer attachment) what should I do to get rid of these? Technician at A*W Attidiya said they have seen worst and just to increase the oil change frequency. (3000-3500km cycles) I would be really grateful if some advice can be given? (Current mileage: 78,000km)

I have a KIA Sorento 2008 version and recently I had to crank quite hard to get it started(early in the morning). Yesterday it didn't start at all. when the mechanic checked, he told me that all four Glow Plugs are not working. Replace those four plugs and with working battery tried o start. But still not working. Dash lights are working. Any sort of a helping thought is appreciated. Thanks

I'm considering VW Golf or Peugeot 307. YOM would be 2007 or 8. would like some help to understand if there are any specific things to look when buying one and again if there are any factory faults in these models? I know the 307 autos had a gearbox issue. but I'm looking for a manual option. any help would be appreciated. BMW 320i (YOM 2005/6) is also an option. any thoughts on that as well compared to the VW and Pug??

I had kind of a bad vesak day yesterday, the road was full of traffic and one motorbiker smashed into my right side winker mirror and just escaped .! The mirror (the glass) got shattered but, the mechanical and electrical parts working well. (power mirror and winker light are good). Looking for a shop to buy a recon winker mirror preferably around kandy/Kurunegala. (Highly doubt that I would be able to find the mirror part alone without having to buy the entire unit. :sad-smiley-066: ) If you know such a place or happened to have a recon VitZ 2008 right side winker mirror please comment...! Hi Guys, Been facinated about MAZDA and want to go for one. There are the Mazda 3, Demio and Axela 2006 - 2009 models which got my attention Will be great if I can get some assistance for the below: 1. An auto, triptonic or even a manual 2. Fuel Consumption 3. Style 4. Handling and safety 5. Maintainence (Service cost / spare parts) 6. Why is Axela being costly than Demio? 7. Anything in perticular I should be knowing like the gear box, fluids ect.. ect., (seems like there are several models with unique features on this make) I believe all these models have a good resell value. I have a budget of Rs. 30 M Your openion on these models will certainly help to make a decision...! Emac
