  1. The following is quoted directly from the Eco Tablet website. /// Outside there are several types of fuel savers that still contain Zn and Pb (lead) which will actually damage the engine and cause scale on the gasoline filter. /// They say that other people's products can be harmful. Although the brands are different, when we use any product for the same purpose, the effects can also be similar. .
  2. I want to replace the rear right hub bearing of my Toyota Aqua. Part No: 42450-52060. The TL price is significantly high (can't even buy 30 bearings for the price of the car πŸ˜ƒ) so I have no choice but to look for an alternative solution. The KOYO brand (made in Japan) is available but prices vary from place to place. Please help me to 1. Find a good place to buy a quality bearing at the best price 2. Find a good place (garage) to do the replacement in the evening or night (at least 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm). within the Colombo and suburbs.
  3. Toyota Aqua also having same issue. @asrockmethod (just press the fold/unfold button and give it a small push by hand while the motor is running) is the best solution so far.
  4. I saw a known car that had condemned a few months ago due to a head-on collision being advertised recently on a popular car site with a high price tag and mentioning that the vehicle in in mint condition. πŸ˜ƒ If something condemned, (that means, beyond the repair, isn't that right?) then how it could be released by the insurance company to use again? Is it legal?
  5. Latest update just after one year: Last week, his car again got engine malfunction errors (same as before) + parking brake locked. Millage is 42,000+ km. Finally he had to replace the malfunctioning injector (TL price Rs. 65,000 including 10% discount).
  6. Just get Torque app which is easy to use. Otherwise there are lots of apps.
  7. This is true. But if your below statement also true, Then, you should definitely replace your brake oil ASAP. Trust me, you will see the difference in brake feel after replacing the oil. No one can judge the quality of brake oil with the naked eye (or even the small gadget like a pen also couldn't do it)
  8. Seems, common failure of the Brake booster pump (so called ABS issue). Since this is a common case for Axio, Aqua, there are lots of places doing repairs and used parts also readily available. Anyway, replace brake oil first and see what's happening (because it will not cost you more than Rs. 5,000). Sometimes you may observe some improvement after replacing brake oil.
  9. This is the Instruction Manual of Passo (Feb 2010 onward) which recommends) 0W20 as best fuel efficiency and 5W30 also could be used.
  10. YOM? Which is the recommended grade? 5W30 or 0W20? Anyway, no problem if its cost effective.
  11. 99% of the time, the problem could be the 12V battery. Several indicator lights are obvious with a weak battery. The drain line is a necessary safety feature as the battery is located in the cabin. Therefore, do not replace one with no drain line. So, better to adhere with same YUASA one. Don't go for cheap options. Didn't you try to jump start the car?
  12. For lower maintenance costs, you have to buy a little new car. non-hybrid, bit new, sedan, below 4M. πŸ€” Even an Axio Hybrids going above 4M these days. Isn't it.
