  1. Cost to replace with a brand new part from the agents = 300,000/= However don't rush. As I said it could be a completely different issue and you might be able to fix it without a big cost. At the same time please check the prices from few different places as the price mentioned by me might be changed by now. Please let us know once you get your issue fixed ! Good luck !
  2. @Buccinator Bro, I have been using the Vezel now for 3 years. I was so worried and hopeless due to the issue I had. First and most important thing I can say to you please don't worry. You cannot come into a conclusion by merely looking at the indication lights. Honda vezel will give you many indicators even for a simple issue so you cannot decide what's going on based on that. So calm down and first and foremost go to the agents (I advise you to go to the Maradana brach. If possible see if there is this wonderful person called Sanjaya and tell him the complete story) and tell them the issue. They will run through a scan and see what's their opinion. I'm saying you this based on my own experience so diagnosis of the issue is the most important part. The scan results will give you an insight of the current issues of the vehicle. Based on that you might be able to see where the possible failures are. Then go through each of the failing areas and try to identify the root cause of the problem. I recommend you the agents as I had no solution from any other person for my issue + My issue was not a consistent issue and it was occasional (Had a very hard time diagnosing the root cause). At the same time I advise you to get some more information from the previous owner. Ask him if he experienced the same issue before, what are the replacements he has done (and where) etc. Gather information as much as possible and try to narrow down the possible areas for the failure. In my case the issue was the wire harness which goes to the master servo pump (Brake booster). I asked agents to open an inventory to keep the vehicle and to diagnose the issue as I didn't want to take the vehicle home. Now it has been some time and vehicle runs smoothly. I can say that as long as vezel has no issues and if the maintenance is done on time, it's a wonderful car. However in general Honda's are not that reliable but it packs full of features. Once you fix the issue, try running the vehicle at least for 5 minutes for a day. Do the maintenance timely. To protect the dual clutch, when in a heavy traffic for a long time put the gear into neutral and apply brakes (Do not put the vehicle on a running gear). Bro, your issue might be completely different from mine even though you get similar amount of indications as me. I learnt a lot of lessons from my first car. So please don't worry, get the vehicle checked and everything will be fine EVERYTHING WILL BE ALL RIGHT ! KEEP US UPDATED !
  3. Guys, Please can someone advise me on following questions (I'm asking below questions based on the price + quality. Simply I'm trying to find the quality parts/repairs while lowering the cost) 1. Where can I find brand new Honda Vezel (2014) spare parts other than the agents ? 2. Where can I find reconditioned Honda Vezel (2014) spare parts ? 3. Good places to do Electrical/Mechanical repairs other than the agents ? Apart from above questions I need to find the wire harness which is connecting the master servo brake pump. Agents quoted 3 lakhs for that and I'm wondering why it's so costly. Can you guys please help me to find the answers 🙂 Many thanks in advance
  4. @GayanR Do you think I'm in serious trouble ? Please let me know.
  5. Guys, Please see the full inspection report I got for the vehicle. Yesterday I took the vehicle for a full service and there was a heavy traffic in Colombo. Suddenly vehicle stopped in the middle of traffic and when I accelerate it was just making noise but it was not shifting the gears properly. So I stopped the vehicle and asked from agents what to do. They said it's probably overheating of clutch oil so we need to keep engine switched off for 10 - 15 minutes and then directly come there for the service. I'm not sure whether this is a bad sign and something to do with DCT. Guys, I am now completely hopeless of this vehicle. Any thought of yours are highly appreciated ! Regarding my main issue, it's still unresolved. @iRage I have not experienced other Vezels but I feel like it's mostly engaging with engine rather than the Hybrid system. Another thing that I noticed, the breaking issue stops for around one day when I take a long trip. Once I went on a long trip and the breaking issue was there until I reach there but when I was coming home it engaged with the Hybrid system until I reach home (If my memory serves right. Is it abnormal ?) and there was no breaking issue (All indications are gone). As I said my main issue stay unresolved. I will keep you guys posted. Many thanks to everyone !
  6. @Davy @iRage @Dee Jay @gayanath @Cband @anjulau78 @ramishkad @AVANTE @ajm @Thushama and Everyone here in the forum. Guys, Thank you very much for your kindness of supporting me ! It's very kind of you guys ! Now this is the update. I have experienced some break issue after several days posting the issue in here. It was middle in the traffic, suddenly the indications came back and I was very confused and I had to push the break pedal all the way down to not to hit the front vehicle. It was a horrible experience in my life . The same issue came back several times and we have decided to go to the Stafford Motors, Ja-ela branch. They did a scan and said it is the master brake servo pump which is not functioning properly. After contacting the previous owner he said he had the same issue while ago and he replaced the master brake servo pump with a reconditioned as company said 5 Lakhs to replace with a brand new part. That was again very sad to hear . We didn't have proper answers from Ja-ela branch so we decided to go to the Stafford Motors Maradana Branch. They were very proactive and 4, 5 technicians looked at the issue and after around 1 and half hours we saw they were going for a test drive. They came back and said the issue is gone. The reason they said was, one of the wires connecting to the master brake servo pump had a loose connection or something. They also said if the issue persists, we need to give attention to the master brake servo pump. After that we had several trips but the issue came back. The issue is not consistent. It comes and go away it self. Yesterday the issue was there and I was taking the vehicle on uphill and the gear was on D. When I was getting the foot out of the break pedal it was going backwards. Can you guys feel how I felt at that time Is this possible ?. I have no idea what's going on. I'm thinking of taking the vehicle to Stafford Motors (Maradana) again. I'm very much disappointed now and so many things going on my head. 1) Is it the master brake servo pump ? (Then for a brand new part 5 lakhs) 2) Is it the wire harness ? (Then for a brand new part 3 lakhs) 3) Is it a malfunction in the system ? (Then I don't know what to do) 4) Is this a serious issue ???? Do you guys have any idea what to do ? it feels like I have burned 45 lakhs and I don't know what to do / where to go. Even the company says, since it's a Japan domestic vehicle, the manual is in Japanese, so it's hard to diagnose issue in Honda Vezel. Any thoughts guys ?
  7. @Dee Jay Sure I will update the thread once I resolve the issue. @ramishkad Thank you very much for helping and giving valuable information for me !!! @AVANTE Thank you very much for sharing your experience !!! @ajm Thank you very much !!! 12. @Davy I bought this from a person who has used this vehicle as a second vehicle. I'm the third owner. In the worst case scenario can you please tell me how much I will have to spend if it's a brake system failure (Please note the last image attached. There's red indication for brake system and orange warning indication for parking brake) ? I'm so worried, it's only been a month. Can you also please tell me where I should put the vehicle for Scan ?. Stafford, Sterling or any other better place ? It's very kind of you to help me. Many thanks.
  13. @Davy Thank you very much for your response. Do you think this is something serious ? ? ?
  14. Hi All, I'm a new member in here and greetings to everyone. We bought a Honda Vezel 2014 recently and it's just month ago. Today when I start the vehicle I got some warning messages and some warning lights as in the attached images. I'm very confused about what's happening and I'm afraid whether the previous owner has tricked us. We didn't have a inspection before we purchase the vehicle. Can someone please explain me, what are these warning lights and what actions should I take. Many thanks in advance. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME !!!
