  1. Hi All, Im going to do the transmission oil change tomorrow from stafford and they asked me to do an engine tune up as well since its almost 40k. Then mentioned about a turbo oil line clean up as well to avoid turbo problems that may occur if not done. Do you have any idea about the tune up and the oil line clean up. Has anyone of you done transmission oil change and turbo line clean up with tune up from stafford?
  2. My civics A/C was also causing troubles. I found a local AC repair person who was willing to do it for the first time. He and I got together and removed the condenser without removing the front bumper somehow. We removed the cross bar which the radiator fits in with some other cables and stuff and push the radiator backwards and managed to unscrew the nuts of the condenser and took it out. I found a brand new condenser for 32k from my local AC repair persons contact. We fitted the thing and refilled the gas and now its working fine again. All done with 50k
  3. I did bit of a research around the gasses. and found this.. https://www.denso-am.eu/media/corporate-news/2017/august-2017-newsletter-compressor-oil-and-refrigerant-mixing-old-and-new/ One of my friends car had the same issue and he went and refilled 134a. Still no issues and works perfectly.. I am wondering whether to refill 1234yf or 134a now.
  4. Hi Anushax. can you give me a contact no and the name of this place you get the repair done. Mine also has the same issue I guess as now the cool is not there at all.
  5. Hi, I use a Honda civic gen 10 2018 and today after running around 27500 kms the service due icon appeared. When checked in the maintenance it lists 3 things with service due in 28 days. Please check the attached screenshot and below details. B: Chassis inspection 2. Dust and Pollen Filter 3. Transmission oil As i ve heard transmission oil should be changed in 40000kms. Can someone please advice if i need to change Transmission oil as well.

  7. Thanks a lot Minsad. Will stick to full synthetic.. BDW do you know why my maintenance screen shows the days for the service instead of km s.
  8. Thanks a lot for the information. BDW mine doen't show a km count instead show service due in 28 days. Is there any way to get the km count left for the service. The model is Civic SR though.
  9. Its been 4.5 months now..
  10. Hi Guys, I started using mobil full synthetic engine oil 5W30 thinking i could get 10000kms with this. Yesterday after doing just 7000+ i got the oil change reminder on the car. Anyone had this experience before? Is it useless to use full synthetic oils on civic expending a lot on the oil coz it doesn't give you expected 10000 kms range? Do i need to go back to semi synthetic oils again. Please advice
  11. Hi Again, Have you guys ever experienced a bit of a jerk or a pause and puck up when you slow down the car to like 30 km/h and press the accelerator pedal after breaking. I notice this most of the time in my Civic 1.0 Turbo. Would that be a problem so that i need to go for a check up. Thanks.
  12. Thanks a lot for the info
