@AmilaC, Please stop creating multiple threads for this issue. You've created three so far. This thread can still be used to discuss your problem.

    Threads merged.

    So what happened?

If all of these issues started popping up after you replaced the engine compartment fuse box, then just swap back to the old one. The new fuse box you used might not be having the same internal wiring.

Yes bro. i have swapped the box and the problems still there :( checked all the wirings has no issues or no loosen connectors :( still no luck searching for a place to fix the issues :(

(And yes. i wanted to delete the post in general automotive section and want to keep the electrical section post. but there is no option to delete. and no one responded to my general automotive section)

  2. Guys. Need a big favor.

I have an Euro Accord CF3 car need few things get fixed.

    1. Central lock system only works when ignition is on

    2. Retractable mirrors Stopped working

    3. Interior lights Blinks (turn on and off) when ignition on (in "door" position in hood light) when all doors closed.

    4. AC clutch not engaging

    5. Door open indicators on cluster only works when ignition on. and also no beeping when doors open :(

So i have checked all the relays and fuses all works fine and nothing blown out.
And all the connectors in fuse boxes, body control module is all fine.

Do you guys know any honda electrical specialist to get them fixed?

i have the exact same problem in my honda. earlier both retractors weren't working. then i replaced the control switch, and lo and behold, passenger side retracts after one or two failed attempts, and the drivers' motor runs freely. i did som ereading on this and (at least for honda) it runs on plastic cogs, which care likely to break if osmeone forces the mirror open etc. you need those plstic cogs replaced (as do i. haven't got aroundto it yet)

i know a guy in bellanwila, auto electrician called malinga. PM me for contact details. he's really good at this sort of thing, but not cheap. he recently fixed my antenna (not fully retracting/extending) now it runs like clockwork, but 1200/- for a smiliar repair. highly recomemnded tho. the workshop is heaven. can't beleive he's a sri lankan mechanic....

let me know the location please ?

It's possible that the new fuse box you used works with a different wire harnesses. Meaning the pins are different.

Can you switch back to the old one and see if all these issues are no longer there? If that one works, I suggest swapping the housings of the fuse boxes and using the new housing on the old fuss box internals. If at all that's possible.

Yes. thats the thing came to my mind. thanx broh. Will update on this issue on next week.

  6. Hi there, I have faced a big problem after replacing a under hood fuse box. the story is like this.

i have replaced under hood fuse box because of some cracks on the old one. so after installed new box i have faced few problems.

    1. security system (remote lock and unlock) works only when ignition is on.

    2. interior light comes and off on when ignition is on.

    3. mirror folding switch is not working.

Checked all the fuses and relays under hood, driver side and passenger side so no issues.

Do you guys know a good place to check the wiring on this case?

Car is Honda Euro Accord CF3 - 1998
