  1. I Had this issue on highways while driving over metal seperators where bridges and roads connect. this was when the original tyres started peeling off. Once the tyres were changed - all good to date.
  2. Im Running at 4.5 years with the battery that came with the car and for about 4-5months now the Auto start/stop not kicking in. i guess the time is coming for me too given your experience.. 😐
  3. Yeah i saw your comment on'em on an earlier post too. i dont have'em on. thanks for the heads-up anyway. will help others.
  4. Good to hear theres no EXP date - same i found online while researching too. although the stored conditions might be a deciding factor?! 🤷‍♂️ Thats the same site i've refered for reviews too. that's it then. will be going for it & update once they are on! Have a great day!
  5. Thanks @tinyman ! sure will check with them too.
  6. Thanks @misnad. yeah thats what i thought too. what they have are 2021-Aug manufactured. hope thats fine. Guess the Continentals are a much better choice? but no way icould afford'em with current rates.
  7. Quick update - Hence my tyres had acting up for a while now, time has come for replacement. its not the best time economically though, but since the prices keep going up continuously thought of replacing now. The best deal i've come across is for Federal EVOLUZION ST 1 with respectable ratings & reviews(i've seen some past recommendations on the forum it self for these). got'em for 47K each(from ty*eshoponline.lk) which seems a better deal comparing to the current prices. what you guys think?
  8. Exactly! I too had to ask stafford forcefully to use fully synthetic oils from day once as they were using semi-syn on this car as you said. i used mobil fully synthetic as per manual so far too but recently they've swithed to Motul and used - 8100 which complies with the recommended standards on my last service.
  9. Manual recommended type 2.0 oil is fully synthetic. You can alos go to oil manufacture websites and search for the vehicle and it recommends fully synthetic too.
  10. 0w-30 or 10w-30 is fine to use. (number before "w" does not matter for us as it for winter) What matters is that the oil has to be fully synthetic for the 10th gen civics. most modern vehicles for that matter.
  11. What's the oil model you used? i used Motul 8100 Eco-nergy on my last service around 6 months back. they were going to use something else but i insisted on this after some web search reccomondations & it was more expensive adding around extra 10K to the bill as i remember. I Heard the Non-fully synthetic oils isnt good for the turbo as it shares the same oil from engine. Also the manual says to use Only Honda Oil type 2.0 if using 0w-20?
  12. I got the same call from SL*C to increase the valuation to - 9mn as well. im awaiting the quotation to see whether to take the call ot keep it as is. around how much your total comes to?
  13. Hello @misnad, Have you expierenced any back swing while your primacy 3s were worn? im at 25K kms now and tires has started peeling off here and there & i felt a bit of a swing from the back of the car while doing around 60 when hit a small pothole or an edge between road & bridge seperations.
  14. About the tires, have you tried tyrebass[dot]lk? it seems to give a pretty good idea on brandwise price comparison.
  15. So i got my air conditioner fixed from where @misnad did his repair.(Sak*ra Auto AC). Did my research and found to be the cheapest place. (Condenser+r1234yf refrigerant) - 70K About my experience - Owner (Chatura) seems to know the way around the car and involved in overlooking almost all the time. even the Bumper was removed by him with the help of the team. they had the relevant tools for removing plastic caps and was organized with all the nuts & bolts. all was secured in a box right after removing from the body. i'd give 4/5 for the professionalism of the work. They checked my condenser & showed me all the leaks i had within in the underwater tub. (i had 4 leaking points) They said the replacement part is a Thailand make (although there was no any "made in.." or proof to support the same). it seems around half a centimetre thicker than the original one. After fixing the new Condenser, they vacuumed out the system & pumped the "r1234yf" refrigerant (they said it and the bottle had a branding label saying the same) they've pumped 525g from it but i later found out the Service Manual says the amount range as 375g-425g. when i asked back the next day he said there's no issue in that and they've used the same amount in all other Civics they repaired too.(please share your thoughts). No any oil was added extra to compensate whatever the leaked amount and they said its not needed although the manual says to add 50ml in case of the condenser replacement. despite those 2 questioning points all others when well. Its been 2 weeks after the repair and so far the AC works same as before. He checked the cabin filter as well and asked to replace the same as its blocking the airflow. they had the original filters as well and throw me one in for the same total cost. below are the screenshots for the service manual - will help others as well.
