Yeap It was her husband who was driving.I know the subaru guy. I am not trying to defend him.I blame 75% on the wagon R driver. But m not sure whether the wagon R skidded or whether he made a sudden turn to right without even looking at what’s coming it’s way. Anyway here’s a before and after pics. greatest sympathies for the car and the lives lost.

Place To Buy A Good Horn (Around Colombo)
K.o.N.o.S replied to Nadeeshabey's topic in General Automotive
Bringing up an old thread. Anyone knows a place to buy a Bosch horn in and around Kandy? -
Ha ha you are welcome to the Lowlife club..?. Are you planning to do this with coilovers or just by lowering springs?

I too was surprised to see that much junk. Yeap they flushed the fluid. Total cost 8k. Further there were some signs of inner wear in the brake cylinder. So they suggested to replace both cylinders. I didn’t go with that because of the cost. (17k per cylinder) maybe I will wait until the next service to check if the repair was indeed a success.

I am not going to go into much details on this repair. All the Lancer owners in this thread have gone through it at UNIMO.

Ok I will tell you from my experience. I usually wax my car once a month after prepping. I use Autoglym Rapid aqua wax which will blend in with water so I do not have to completely dry the car after washing. in my case I use two non-stretching microfiber cloths only. Steps are as follows. Wash the car and leave wet Spray the wax while the car is still sitting with water (2 sprays per panel is sufficient) Use a clean microfiber cloth to spread the wax. Buff to shine with the 2nd microfiber cloth.

Yes, that would be your home. With the right tools and products You can properly do it yourself.

Finding the exact root cause of the issue might be tricky IMO. I experienced a similar situation some time back on my gaming Pc. Checked motherboard,CPU ,Memory sticks and even the PSU.They were all good. Then I checked the Graphics card. Ripped it apart and cleaned the dust. That did the trick.

Cornering body roll, rear passenger comfort & space
K.o.N.o.S replied to everyf4's question in Car Buying Information
If body roll is your concern the best yet expensive solution would be to upgrade to Coilovers/Adjustable suspension. As a resident in gampola I have driven countless times on nuwaraeliya road. With my car Sitting with coilovers I am feeling almost zero body roll. -

For someone who looks after the car like his own child I hope you gave it away to the most deserving one obviously. -
Vehicle Service History and Second Hand Market Value
K.o.N.o.S replied to Aravinda's topic in General Automotive
Yes. I do keep all my maintenance records for my future reference. I really do not care about the second hand market value and my pure intention is to keep the car with me for a very long time. -

Absolutely. I believe these tests are yet to be implemented locally. And I do not see that’s happening for a foreseeable future

sorry guys I was not active here for a while. I too can agree with @Davy here. When I bought my car the previous owner had the original shocks with him ( which he has put up for sale separately) they were including boots were in great condition. I was itching to buy them but changed my mind eventually. Car was 10 years old (2008 YOM)

@trinity same is pending for me. A small leak was spotted during the regular service on RR brake cylinder (However I do not see any brake Oil level drops) . I am still trying to arrange a suitable time to do the repair at UNIMO. Hopefully as soon as possible.
