Yes you are right. Both are manufactured in Czech Republic. Pricing wise Octavia is 6m and Karoq is 7.8m

Anyone have any thoughts about the Skoda Octavia 1.0 turbo and Karoq 1.0 turbo? Both are reasonably priced and offer value for money with loads of space and options. Furthermore Skoda is now owned by Volkswagen and therefore share the same parts as the Golf, Polo etc. Recently found out that V*** M**** who are the reliable non agent service providers for European brands, provide warranty and service support for Skoda as well. BTW lets leave second hand market out of the discussion since its not a Toyota Competitors for the Octavia would be (in terms of price): - Honda Civic 1.0 hatchback - Audi A3 Competitors for the Karoq would be (in terms of price): - Toyota CH-R - Honda Vezel

I had a Aqua 2013 G Limited and sold it and bought the Swift Hybrid. You say the Aqua is better? I would say HELL NO! Here is why: - Same fuel consumption as Aqua - Higher ground clearance than Aqua - More spacious inside with ample leg room than Aqua - More comfortable than Aqua - Better driving pleasure than Aqua Only downside of the swift is that the insurance premium is higher. Thats it. I am so glad I went for this after the Aqua So I believe you have got your opinions from questionable sources who are probably Toyota addicts who will even buy a jack fruit if its badged as a toyota.

mate we are talking about a 2017 car and you want to know about spares and maintenance cost? ?
-
nope. Maybe an issue with your steering rack. Better get it checked

These figures are correct. What is hilarious is I found a guy on Facebook selling his 1.0L turbo Baleno claiming 18KMPL in the city and 22-24KMPL outstation! And apparently A** has fed him some bull claiming that as the engine gets older it will do over 22KMPL in the city! Looks like he has even beaten the JC08 figure LOL
-
my full hybrid does 20+ in traffic so RS figure looks right
-
Whats ur realistic fuel economy in the city?
-
can you attach a photo of the grill with the missing part?
-
Same mild hybrid system. RS has bodykit. ML does not

I posted pics of the first full hybrid suzuki swift in the hambantota port, but unfortunately the members here took it as a joke, so I removed the post.

I don't know who the owner is. Just snapped the photos when I went to collect my vehicle

you maybe better at doing the job of a photo recognition software than making judgements about cars based on their looks [emoji4] Sent from my SM-G930F using AutoLanka.com mobile app powered by Tapatalk

Ah so you interpret a car as being "better" by comparing the outside looks? Yeah, it must be quite easy for car salesmen to sell you cars

No need to take my word for it. please check with Sri Lanka customs as to how many full hybrid vehicles have been imported to Sri Lanka and you will have your answer :-) Sent from my SM-G930F using AutoLanka.com mobile app powered by Tapatalk

Swift RS hybrid is a full hybrid? Please dude don't make me laugh [emoji23] Sorry to burst your bubble but the RS hybrid is a MILD hybrid, the same as the one in the Wagon R. You should not fall so easily to lies spewed by car salesmen. Also how do you know this vehicle doesn't have alloys? Is it visible in the pics? man oh man oh man... Best vehicle to buy post Nov 2017 budget
dilshant80 replied to dilshant80's question in Car Buying Information
Pushing it downhill was actually 99.9KMPL since the engine was never engaged Short trips (less than 5KM) gave me an average of 20KMPL whereas trips greater than 10KM i got 25KMPL. In city and outstation both- 129 replies

@Supra_Natural Thanks for the wishes. Its not koheda yanne malle pol. Its more like I didnt have time to update this post with my other options so thats why you were not aware of them. JC08 specs are taken with a pinch of salt Of course I know it wont do 32KMPL. My Aqua was rated at 35KMPL and realistically did 25KMPL, so I am expecting similar figures.- 129 replies
