  1. And here's the link for the repair manual: https://mega.nz/#!e253iCDY!QzEPUe1lJAGGiXAMNZZnEuRXv589w7g0agWN6lX7K4Y You need Virtual Clone Drive (free) to mount this CD image.
  2. Oh BTW, if some one wants to the parts catalogue, here it is. Please make use of an adblocker plug-in as this site horrendous to navigate without it. http://www.pekidi.com/navi?FORCED=TRUE
  3. This issue happened in December. They have the oil but not the exact one but compatible. Parts generally they source it from the places you already know I replaced my accumulator recently (original one was not faulty though) and have to replace an Electronic Valve which is causing the hydrolic pressure to drop fast. These information i got from another forum. Helpful bunch there too.
  4. It is true that majority of the Fiats I've seen at LOLC are Indian ones, however they have the know-how regarding the italian ones and does a really good job with repairs. My Selespeed stopped working due to a pump failure and they were able to identify the problem very quickly ad removed the faulty part. I managed to get the pump fixed and they refit and did an oil change and service for a very reasonable price (they even replaced two faulty bulbs without me asking). Even at an earlier date, I had a massive coolant leak besides the engine bay, as soon as I took the car in they knew where the issue was exactly, and managed to get the car fixed within two days. Again, the charges were very reasonable. Overall they do a decent job for the amount you pay and they've all the required tools. This is the only place I've been so far to repair the car, therefore I can't really compare the other places.
  5. IMHO the best place for repairs is LOLC Motors. Their prices are reasonable and even though they may not have all the parts needed, they at least tells you where to get the parts or where they source the parts. I've tried both the guys mentioned above when I needed to get a replacement key programmed and one asked for 25k, when the key programmer only wanted 12k. There are few things you need, the Fiat Repair manual (eLearn) and the parts catalog (ePER). If you have both of these you can do most repairs on your own and source the parts. The best place to source parts from overseas is shop4parts (.co.uk to the end.). Extremely cheap and realiable. Ships to SL. A well known place in Rajagiriya wanted me to shell out 25k for a used radiator fan when I can get a brand new full fan assembly for about 20-22k + shipping. Make sure you get an ELM327 + Adapter cable set so that you can do the diagnostics yourself (Software: MultiECUScan and AlfaODB). And you would also need to have Torx socket set handy as a lot of repair shops don't have the necessary tools to remove nuts and bolts. You can ask anything here and there's a ton of friendly people here who can help you
  6. Thanks guys. Really appreciate the support here.
  7. Hey, I called the buggers today and they said they're not taking in any vehicles at teh moment due to some constructions/stock issues. Do you know a place where I can get parts for engine/gearbox mounts as it's pretty bad to derive at the moment and needs to be replaced ASAP. Regards
  8. Yep, That I have known from experience. My previous Euros were Peugeot 306 (2001) Range Rover P38 (1998) L322 Converted (Only one SL) Volvo S60 (2001) I had repair manuals, EPC and diagnostic kits for all for these when I had them. Served me well and helped in a lot of situations. Hoping to get the diagnostic kit down for the FIAT as well. And thanks for the mention about wheels lanka. Will go to them next time Regards, Asanka
  9. Hi Folks, Got a GP 2006 two weeks ago (Not my first foray into EURO vehicles, in fact majority are EURO's). My Dad went and bought this for my mom. He didn't look at it properly and have a few issues. I Just handed it over to LOLC Motors to do an inspection so that I get a report. If you guys can let me know what are good and reasonable places where I can get spare parts and get the repairs done. My initial diagnosis is that engine and gearbox mounts needs to be replaced. there's a big noise and jolt coming when the car shifts between the 1st two gears. 3-5th are relatively fine however can feel the car swayback and forth during the shift. There also seems to be a noise coming from bushings on the front that needs to be replaced. I already downloaded the parts catalog and the repair manual so have a good head start in this side. Regards Asanka
