  1. Well. When I checked the DCT oil, it was not that good so I changed that. Once that was done, I just accidentally did this while engine was on run & I noticed this abnormal behavior for a vehicle with such mileage.
  2. Well.. I'm sure about the 1st owner. But the company (a very big one in Kandy) who imported the vehicle has a record with mileage changes so I'm not that confident. If the engine has reached its mileage, it should be somewhere over 2 lakhs of kilometers. But I doubt that level had been reached within nearly one year.
  3. Thanks dear @Crosswind May I know a good place where I can get this repaired?
  4. Hello Experts, I have a problem in my Honda Grace since couple of days. When I remove the oil level indicator stick out of its compartment while engine is started, oil is sprayed up. I bought this vehicle about 1 month back but by that time this behavior was not there. The most recent event that I can suspect as the cause for this is, I did an under carriage wash with high pressure (as car was trapped in a heavy mud about one week back). Some local technicians say this can be caused by a blockage in a part pronounced something like 'Beater valve'. Could someone express your thoughts on this behavior? My car's YOM 2016 & the current ODO is 31000. Many Thanks, Navinath
  5. Thanks a lot Rumesh for your prompt reply.
  6. Hello, I have couple of questions about my Honda Fit GP5. 1. I’m about to change my car’s transmission oil. Should I go for the company or it is safe to go for a reputed service station for this? 2. I used Mobil 0W-20 oil (fully synthetic) as the engine oil which I changed in every 7500 k.m. intervals. Now I’m planning to move to Toyota 0W-20 oil (Mineral 5000k.m.) considering facts like not heavy daily run, both service & oil change can be done at once, cost effectiveness. Is it OK to change the oil I used for sometime? 3. Before the above oil brand change (mentioned in 2.), is it needed to do an oil flush to wipe out the existing oil? if so what kind of chemicals should be used for this. Many thanks. Navinath
