  1. You can't compare living and working in a European country vs SL. In addition to a  functional system, you will be building a pension fund that would allow you to retire comfortably, at least in SL. What you save in SL in rupees will be worthless in a few years, whereas foreign currency savings keep appreciating. The social security would ensure if you are laid off or become unable to work, you and your dependents will still get some income to survive and not end up in the streets( similar to security of extended family net in SL) . You and your children will have access to best healthcare, without having to go bankrupt or collect donations from others. Education opportunities for children are more and also advanced.

But ... we don't live forever. So it's important to be content.

Have you left the parents in SL as well? That would be another reason to return.

There you go, they should first look at infrastructure, charging capability, range, scrappage schemes before implementing.

Hope we dont bring down EV's and transplant hybrid petrol engines like they do on the Leaf.

Air pollution my foot. You stop imports of fossil fuel vehicles and burn more fossil fuels to charge them. Where is the promised renewable energy etc?

This is going to end like the compost fertilizer thing🐃

  3. There are no more automobile engineers in the world. There are system engineers, electrical and Electronic engineers, software engineers, mechanical and NVH engineers, Application engineers, functional safety experts, project managers etc working simultaneously on a single project to release a new vehicle model within a given budget, spec and time. Vehicle development has become so complicated that since the nineties its not possible for one almighty "automobile engineer" to posses the required expert level knowledge to design and develop a vehicle. Do you rather mean automobile "technicians " 🤔

  4. Yes bare land will always be in demand and easy to sell, unlike land with houses or flats. Assuming Banks will not go bankrupt, foreign currency deposits might be an interesting option(140 to 200 rupees per USD, almost 50% increase in 5 years and you get at least 3%  annual interest from the Bank on top of that).
