  1. My car with a milage of 150000kms used mobil 2000, 10w-40. Since in the past i used the car regularly and 5000km was reached before 6 months. But Nowadays I use the car rarely and my service guy adviced to use mobil 1000 which is not a semi synthetic and the cost would be lesser compared to mobil 2000. His point was that changing the oil at 6 months interval for a milage lesser than 5000km s is fine with mobil 1000(10w 40/ 10w 30) I would be pleased if any expert could comment on the point.
  2. Hi Rumesh, I exactly don't know how the CVTF was changed and there is no way of contacting the owner. Oil change was done at GLxTZ PAxK Gampaha. OCV was untouched during the tune up. Engine seems to be bit sluggish only during low speeds.
  3. Model- Premio 260 , 2009, My CVTF was changed by the previous owner at 41 000 km and the service tag says the next change is at 71 000 km. Is it needful to change the cvt oil at 30k interval or else to stick to the usual practice of oil change at 40k interval? Present ODO is 70 000km and recently gone through a engine tune up which included throttle body cleaning, spark plugs cleaning & ultrasonic injector cleaning due to a slight low performance experienced on hard acceleration. But the problem exists after the tune up. Could this be solved by a fuel filter replacement or CVTF change?
  4. Coolant level has decreased abt 1cm in the bottle for a period of around 1 year(10 000km). Hope this as normal. Wanted to add Seiken red coolant 1l cause Toyota genuine comes as 4l which is too expensive for such a small amount of adding.
  5. Coolant level in the Radiator Overflow tank seems to be remaining between High and Low level marks. IS this normal in 1nz fe engines? Has anyone tried using "Bear brand" Seiken coolant(made in Japan) instead of the oem 1 nz fe engines red coolant?? Since its Japanese cannot google the specifications of seiken for compitabilty.
  6. compressor seems to be a variable compressor. Will rev the car to 2500-3000rpm and will let you know the results.
  7. Hi As speed decreases cooling starts to increase as normal automatically. AC compressor have been repaired/replaced by previous owner. Anyway no details about it.
  8. AC seems to be fine while the car is on idle and up to 80-85kmh. As the speed increases the cool starts decreasing and finally only the blower air remains. Is this related to speed or high rev ??
  9. Honda vezel has got rfp in 4 modes. Strong moderate low and deactivated. Not sure about other model. Has anyone checked with gp5??
  10. RFP seems to be included in the Honda vezel instrumental cluster settings. How does the changes be applicable to the performance/fuel consumption of the vehicle?? Also is this function available in the GP5/Grace models.
  11. What are the options equipped in HondA Grace EX grade(2014/15/16) over LX grades? The highest grade which is DX is it available in SL??
  12. IS THERE A INTERMEDIATE GRADE IN THE NEW AXIO HYBRID WHICH HAS THE OPTIONS IF A "G" GRADE SUCH AS PUSH START,REAR VIPER,ORIGINAL ALLOYS EXCEPT FOG LAMPS AND CHROME GRILL.WHAT ARE OPTIONS YOU HAVE IN G GRADE COMPARED TO X GRADE?
  13. No engine was running on idle and at that moment only the MAF value was 300% higher. After the tune up car has been running more than 1000 kms without any faults. Fuel consumption was slightly reduced. Only issue was rough idle haven't increased. What is the idle rpm with AC on for the premios?
  14. After observing the car for few days I have noticed the idle rpm remains steady between 600-650 with A/C on on all the gear postions(P,R,N& D). Is this normal to Allions/Premios& Axios ???
  15. Dear All, Thank you for your valuable advices. When my next service is due will go to the agents and check the idle issue and let them rectify it. Earlier I couldn't mention Tha during the scan test the MAF reading was 300% high at idle rpm. The tech guys idea was it will recover in a while when you run few kms ahead.
  16. Done a tune up at kl**n p**k. Cleaned the trottle body, checked the plugs(Iridium),MAF sensor, cleaned the injectors using wurth tb cleaner. But the rough idle rpm600- 650 remains. Plugged a scanner and found no errors. I'm confused of the situation.
  17. Car has done around 55000km.
  18. Yes 300% more at Idle rpm. PCV valve was cleaned. Only the throttle body was cleanrd. Also the MAF sensor was checked.
  19. Cause having a rough idle rpm(rpm slow with an slight vibration) went through a tune up, which included fuel system cleaning, throttle body cleaning and checking the plugs. after the job was done during the engine scan test found that the MAF sensor values were too high abt 300% more. No other faults were detected and checked the MAF sensor but it had no dust or any Foreign obects. Car is running well and no other issue with it. Tuning was done at kl**n p**k and they were unable to go further recticifaction other than the basic cleaning. MAF values out of range ,how will it harm? Also no error codes were detected during the scan.
  20. Has anyone done a complete engine tuneup including ultrasonic injector clraning at Kle*n Pa*k JaEla? Have they got experienced guys on the job?? Finding another place apart from the agents, cause at the agentz we cannot keep an eye on the job been done.
  21. Checked with the dip stick. 3-4mm above the max level. Is it ok till the next service or do i need to drain a bit?
  22. Did the first service using mobil 2000 15w-40. My question now is the service station guy have added exactly 3L of oil after draining the old and today morning when i checked the dip stick it shows above the max mark. Adding 3L of oil is it too much ? If so what is the correct amount for QG15DE engine?
  23. Is it ok to change the engine oil brand plus the viscosity?? With current mobil 15w -40 engine revs high whrn its cold to get its performance. So to avoid at least a bit will switch in to 10w-30 toyota oil. Also i feel 30 viscosity could give more performance cause the total mileage is 60,000km.
