  1. Thanks everybody for the valuble advice.. @Rumesh88: I will get the the OCV filter checked for any indication...when the car was initially stopped the check engine lamp was on and after I got the car started it went off. @Davy: I didn't get the code but the mechanic said that it was related to crank position sensor fault. Thanks again
  2. I own a 2007 Corolla axio and about six months ago when I stopped the car at a junction for signal lights, car stalled and when I cranked again it started without any problem but some time later I found that the check engine lamp was on. Then I took the car to the garrage where I got all the services and they scanned the system and said that the crank position sensor was faulty and replaced it. But when I got back home the same fault occured and I managed to take the car back to the garrage and they cheked again and said the faulty may be with the air/fuel sensor and they disconnected it and gave me the car and ask me to run for sometime. Thereafter I ran the car for about two weeks and I connected the A/F sensor and managed to run the car without any fault for about a month. Thereafter I went back to the mechanic and got the old crank position sensor installed replacing the new one and managed to run the car about three months without any problem. However about a month ago the same fault happed and I could not start the car even after disconnecting the A/F sensor and I had to tow the car to the garrage and they scanned again and replaced the A/F sensor. Thereafter I ran the car about a month and the same fault happed again and I managed to get the car started after few attempts. I took the car to toyota lanka and they also can't identify any problem. Can anyone help me solve this issue..
