  7. It seems the indicator is sticking. When you observe it is not working, lightly tap to the speedometer area on the dashboard. It will start to work again. Agree with @peugeot407
  8. This is not my home town. But I moved here from Passara 8 years ago. You are always welcome.
  9. Mr. @Sylvi I'm sorry for my misunderstanding. You are always welcome to my place in your next Sevanagala visit. If so we can have a ride with Moggy.
  10. Update Here are some full size photos of her.
  11. Why not. Any member of AL can come and behold her.
  12. Mr Sylvi, Thank you again for your kindness and contact information. Unfortunately I live a little far from Colombo. That is Embilipitiya. The Alternator having inbuilt regulator. So no need to use original regulator. But I kept the original regulator and did some dummy wiring to get thee classic look. Used 28/0.30mm Kelani cable for Lucas DR2 wiper motor armature winding.
  13. About 3 years later, the car is back on the road. Photos showing the current condition of the car will be included here. Let me first add a few close-ups.
  14. Hello Mr. @Sylvi It is almost finished. But I could not take her out because of this covid-19 pandemic. I will update with some photos ASAP.
  15. @Nisal Nimsara Welcome to the forum. It's nice to see young people like you looking for abilities/laws before using public roads arbitrarily. The short answer is 'yes'. I suggest you to read the thread from the beginning to get the clear idea.
  16. Hello Mr. Sylvi, It's nice to have comments from a member like you because you have enormous experience about these car mechanics and electric system. Secondly thank you for valuating my armature winding task. Armature drive end : Yes you are correct again. The commutator is bit wear out. Unfortunately I could not find a matching commutator from local market. So decided to use the same. Hope it will serve me considerable time period. Three wire alternator : This is what I used to do the alternator wiring and its charging the battery typically. I do not blame Dynamo. I can imagine the dynamo era and how served dynamos to the vehicle owners.
  17. Update : (I am sorry it's around a year from last update) Realized that wiper motor cannot govern the load successfully. So decided to rewind it myself. Here are some images of the process.
  18. We have already discussed about Micro Panda in below thread. Also following places https://forums.autolanka.com/search/?q=panda&quick=1
  19. First things first. The same day I saw a similar post on the SLTV FB Group regarding the L board license. Not sure from the same person. “ඔය මොන පර්මිට් එකවත් නැතුව අවුරුදු ගානක් ඩ්‍රයිව් කලා මම" one comment for that. Sorry about how misleading others are. Especially beginners. Didn't go out much because of the epidemic. But a few test drives, a few short trips went. But could not find an opportunity to take pictures. I will try to update the blog soon. Thanks for inquiring.
  20. @Dhanujaya I would like to welcome you to the forum as this is your first post. I love above part of the comment. Many of our young people who will take over the country in the future face fatal accidents due to ignoring these things. Most teens like to ride fast. But don't know how to control the bike during events. So take time, be patient, practice well and be a good rider. Good luck.

  22. Hello and welcome to the forum @Tharaka8999, I think if you mention the area and explain the task bit, you will get an answer soon. The silly FB group actions like bump/up will not get attention here. I hired a person to do my Morris Minor tinkering. But he will go on nearby areas only.
