  1. Hi guys, need your expertise regarding the following; Just too a look under the hood and noticed that, there seem to be a dislocation of a certain tube in the engine... I'm not sure for how long this has been there... But by the looks of it, it seems that this tube is coming out from the fitting as we can see a silver area dislocated a bit.... So I took the vehicle to my mechanic that lives 1km away but he was closed today so i drove back home.... after coming home took a look again, and it stays the same (the dislocated distance is the same and the placement is the same as well) Following are the pictures.... Should I be worried about this?
  2. The Woodpecker has disappeared ever since I folded the mirrors in the car... :)

  3. Lol I do I do Not only me, my best friend also want's to drive it whenever I'm with him in the car as he was addicted to it the very first time he drove it (him being a corolla CE110 and a Mercedez benz owner)...
  4. Oh that is sad to hear :/ he must have hit the front bumber that bad, what was his speed? I don't have a specific place in find where you could get those and yes you will need to walk around all the shops in delkanda/wijerama to find one.. Lights are easy to find as i have given you contacts of where to find parts before..... the buffer you will need to check and see.... If you cannot find contact priyantha (the importer) who's contact I have given you before in this thread, he might have... And you should be careful because the front of the car is longer than we can see from the driving seat.... When I reverse or turn from a narrow road, my friends asks me if I think im driving a car or a lorry (I'm that much cautious)
  5. Did anyone else see the 1979 toyota mark II modified with an Outlander or something's front buffer and up for sale in that other site? LOL

  6. Is it just me or do ya"ll always have an album you listen to in the car that gives you the thrill seeker chill to drive? Mine is the "POP" album by "U2"

  7. Lol.... it's always nice to discover stuff time to time ya know
  8. In the existing bulb itself the holder size is carved, so if you remove the bulb you will be able to see it that's what I also did to figure out my head/parking and fogs
  9. Ohhh ok, thanks guys, I will get them aligned
  10. It's the complete white colour beem (No yellow at all)
  11. Nope I stopped the car and went back around 30-50 meters to see if there is a difference and I don't see it... then I went to another road and checked the beams and there is no difference... its the angle of the pic I have taken maybe make it looks like its higher... here is another pic... The lower beam The higher beam
  12. Maybe it's because i haven't taken it in a straight road? Wait il go for a ride again and take another pic
  13. Alright so the test is completed... And I'm impressed with the results, cuz it is brighter than the previous bulbs... Had a test ride too around the area and yes its worth it.... Here is a pic of our lane (couldn't off those far away lights, cuz there is a sick dog living near that house and hesitant to go there, so switched off only the one infront of my house) And here we go with the night breakers!!! And the front look, note that I did not replace the fogs yet (but removed the fogs and cleaned it) So do you guys think this is bright enough? There is a colour difference between the parking lights and the headlights now right... do you think I should replace the parking lights with LED's? I now wish I could have bought the White Vision version of the bulbs.... hmmm... Btw I didn't align the bulbs... should I?
  14. Since you are concerned about the price of spares and fuel, If i were you I would go for the FB14 - manual transmission which does good in fuel and spares are easy to find and cheap... has a second hand market value too if properly maintained....
  15. Ok so if my previous bulb set's alignment was alright, how can they newly added bulb's alignment change when it is just plug and play? Holes are there but nothing to screw on.... I mean the holes end in the air itself... And yes first time
  16. How to align? and what is a proper alignment...? ok so the first time i fixed it and switched on the lights, i figured that the beam from the left light is higher than the right light, so i took of the right light and turned it one slot from where it was (dropped one pin a slot down) and fixed it and when switched on again, the beams were the same.... now is this what you call alignment? and how am i supposed to know the correct alignment? like the bulb is like 3 pin, and which pin fits which slot in the holder, how to figure this out? (because any pin can fit any holder slot)
  17. Yeyy, fixed it had to youtube "How to remove the Osram bulb BOX" first now have to wait till the night... i can see a whiter look a bit now
  18. Got copped for the first time yesterday :D ....I put the sad puppy face and talked him out in a way he would sympathize and got out without a fine :D

  20. I'm also living in a similar lane to that with a tubelight right infront of my house, even I'm hoping to switch off that light with a broomstick or something to prevent getting electrocuted before testing this newly arrived nightbreakers
  21. This had arrived today How come this soon?... 5 Freaking days since I ordered So I'm wondering whether to wait for the foglights too to arrive or to replace it later...
  22. Yep, had to sand it so bad to get the crystal clear look after applying the clear coat... Still it does look clear and haven't got the colour of the parking light, Sand it around 3 times now after applying it.... I guess I"ll stop it from there, and will see if there is any change in colour after 3 months as you said...
