Having the same issue here. Civic 2018 only 11000km on the clock. I saw in another thread @misnad has managed to get his condenser replaced and R1234yf pumped for around 70k. Where did you guys get it done for 130K? was it agent?

if resale value is not a concern, I'd go for one of the vehicles mentioned in brand new list. About used vehicles, those 7, 8 years old models are outdated and does not have modern appearance/ features , let alone how much they've been abused in those years.

However , digging a little deep on this, I just found out that img file is actually an garmin compatible OSM (OpenStreetMap) , not actual garmin maps for Sri lanka. Actually you can download latest 2018 September OSM maps for Sri Lankan region from their site for free. And I also saw there's actual garmin 2018 maps for Sri Lanka for sale online for $19 and $29. If I purchase this will it be compatible with Honda indash system? Or does OSM have more routing data for Sri Lanka than Garmin?

Do you have to keep engine running for the whole 1 hour when update happens?

I checked aliexpress and ebay, but that cap is very different from what comes with 10th generation Civic. I couldn't find even a closely matching plastic cap. I'll take a picture and post here.

this is true for Dual clutch or other auto. CVT behaves differently isn't it? Civic has CVT.

General question: with Civic, If you floor the gas pedal from a stop, what's the maximum RPM you get before reaching 100Km/h ?

Looks like I've lost one of my tire valve stem caps of my Civic 2018. Is there any place to buy them here in SL? I checked on eBay but couldn't find the exact same one as the original. Any ideas?

I was able to get 25km/L on highway when speed is maintained around 90kmph.

What did you mean by "can't see the Turbo performance" ? Is it that SR doesn't have the turbo gauge in instrument display?

Btw, once you do the eco test, it automatically links up with this web site. So is your insurance. However , it looks like web service of SL I******* is down (for about week now) while others work fine. I get this error when I try to validate. Too bad I got my insurance from SLIC and now I can't get this license online due to this issue ?

I just tried to get a revenue license for a new car, and at the following step (attached) it would not let me proceed. Is it temporarily down or isn't it possible to get 1st revenue license via this website? It doesn't matter which company I select for the 2nd part. It always fails. However I haven't done emission test yet. Just wanted to see if this online thing works. Should I do emission test first and come back here? Are those emission test reports are integrated to this website just like that?

It's a good battery. Is this FD3 or GP1/GP5? If this is an FD3 , then this is probably newly replaced, very good battery. Because you'll rarely find an FD3 with 75% usable capacity.

One of my friends wants to buy an after market FK8 (Civic Type R) spoiler for his FK7. But most Sri Lankan sellers have a different version of this spoiler which has a wrong scale. What they have is not the correct scale. There's no OEM version yet, so have to find the best replica. Sri Lankan sellers have a spoiler shown in the below picture, which is neither the correct scale nor correct shape as in real FK8. Notice how it connects to the wing. Fixing something like this would definitely mess up aero dynamics of the car than fixing something at least closely matches the original one. Correct spoiler looks like this, Notice it's not connected to the bent part of the wing. It just fits in between wing and bent area At the moment there are replicas of correct scale on the internet. We contacted few major spare part sellers who brings down type r spoilers and bodykits, but all of them have the wrong scale version. Does anyone know someone who imports this correct full scale FK8 spoiler?

Yes, recently many people brought down series 2 RX8s which was indeed due to a loophole in customs. That's why there were lot of unregistered RX8s were up for sale recently. tbh, I was also considering personally importing one because you could've imported a series 2, 2009 R3 model for less than 4mil including tax. However I changed my mind Probably this could be the same reason why Evo IXs have CAX number plates. However RX8 having registered as a 2016 model is something seriously wrong.
