I'm using a 1.5 G11 for about 3 years now. Comfortable, spacious and a great car to drive. Boot space, and leg space for back seat passengers are best in its class. Both front and rear seats are comfortable. Fuel Economy ( Can increase the figures if you drive carefully. ) City - 9.5 Outstation - 12.5 Common Issues Dashboard is melting down I had to replace some suspension parts, AC service in about 100,000 kms. Other than that nothing. I do most of the repairs from agents which is bit costly than other places. Parts are easily available.

Any idea about Mazda RX8? Common problems What to look for when you're buying one? Possibility of using as the daily drive? Any other important information...

This post is really old. But I'll answer in case if any other one need information. -fuel economy(1.5l) - 9.5km/l in town, 12+km/l outstations -comfortability(compared to my 121g or an allion or any other in this price category) - Trust me it's a comfy ride compared to others in it's class. -parts availability and cost - Normally I do repairs through agents most of the time, if not can find parts in other places as well. -resale value(used car 2006-2008) - Okay, Not as much as 121 in Sri Lanka I guess -options compared 2 a 121 g - Not much fancy options like european cars, but it has what you need

What about the agents? You can do a check up from them and identify the issues if you have any.

Good one. I prefer either a good looking SUV with some off road capability or a professional prestige car. I'm happy with either one.

It's a great car and it's hard to make my mind to sell. Hope to sell if I find a good vehicle to buy. Price varying from 36 to 42. I got offers for 38.50.

Thanks for information. Current ride is Nissan G11. Rav4, Vanguard are not my type of vehicles. XTrail, I did concern but I think it looks bit outdated. (2008 model)

I know all these are different types of vehicles with different capabilities. I want to know some more information about those. Can handle maintenance and insurance costs if I do not have to goto garage every week. I'm satisfied with a fuel economy of 6km/l. Current vehicle is doing at about 8.5-9.5 in traffic. Just want to know the figures before getting the vehicle.

Thanks for the information. Actually I want to know the numbers of Montero V6 in traffic and long distance since I'm going to use it for daily drive. A friend of mine had a diesel one and according to him, he didn't get any major repair up to 140k until he sold it. Sorento is a good option to start but that would be my last preference from the list.

Nissan G11

I'm hoping to go for an upgrade. Following are my dream vehicles in the next level. My budget is maximum 5.8M. I know all the below are not comparable. I would like to know fuel efficiency (I know it's low), maintenance costs, availability of parts, known issues and things to look at when buying. Also if there are any other recommendation for the above price. Normally I don't think about fuel economy when buying and driving a car, but it's good to have an idea. I have a G11 2008 model and it's a great car. I'm using it for about 1.5 years now and I can highly recommend it. Fuel economy is bit lower if you compare with Toyota cars in the same class. For me it was 9-9.5 in city limits and 12+ in outstations but if you are looking for a comfortable ride G11 will be the best in its class. Handling and pick up is good. Cabin space is awesome. Also has a large boot space.
