  1. Hey man, I already sold the car. But that behaviour is perfectly normal (tested in many Allions and Premios). Don't try to compare conventional CVT with eCVT. Enjoy!
  2. Hi Twin Turbo, The break pads were replaced few months back at TL. More importantly this noise comes while the breaks are not engaged. Yes, I will ask the technicians to check the CVT fluid level when I go for the inspection next week. But the hard part is I don't see any oil leakage whatsoever in my car. So, technically the CVT fluid level should be there intact right? Thanks.
  3. Hi matroska, Thanks for the reply. Both of those issues are different from what I'm experiencing right now. Mine doesn't have any issues with pulling power and doesn't make any noises when reversing. I'm planning to go to TL next week and have them inspected the car. I just want to know whether this is a common noise to all the models using this CVT box. I called one of the engineers at TL and he said this noise maybe a common one for all the Allion/Premio s before 2013 which they haven't notice. Also he said, if there is no jerks when hill climbing and no issues with the usual pulling power, this may not a big problem to worry about.
  4. Hi, I'm driving a 2012 Allion clocked around 65k in it's odometer. All the periodic maintenance are done though the agents. Recently I've noticed a strange KRRRR.. sound when the car is slowing down from 30km/h to 10km/h. I heard this noise when I'm driving (A/C turned off and both passenger side and driver side shutters are fully open) through a quiet lane which has walls on both sides. So I can hear the car's noises very well. When the car slows down to 10km/h this KRRRR... sound came from the left side of it and fades away within few seconds. Also I can hear this sound even in sudden pick-ups of the vehicle from 10km/h or below. I'm suspecting there is something wrong with my CVT. Have any of you had the same problem? Thanks.
  5. As per my observation in my Allion 260, If you're in a steep incline and your foot is off the gas, You'll experience a roll-back. I've seen this quite often in toyota CVT vehicles other than the once with hill-assist support. If there is no any symptoms of the transmission like pulling power issues, you shouldn't be worrying about it. For the engine idling question, the engine will never ever go beyond 1k revs (if it is not a cold start), if its on idle with or without A/C. Usual numbers for 260s will be, 600-650 without A/C 800-850 with A/C. So don't want to worry about that as well.
  6. Exactly!! I think the word pause is better than "jerk". At the time I was composing the post, I didn't find a fitting word for it other than "jerk" . Just like you said, the car suddenly picking up the momentum without responding to the early stages of the accelerator paddle. I'm also kinda new to CVT. Prior to this car I had fixed-ratio AT cars. What is the millage of your car? and were you done the CVT fluid change? Thanks for the information BTW. Now I feel bit relaxed.
  7. As I remember. It is around 11k.
  8. Hi @Twin Turbo, I did a complete tuneup (cleaned injectors, replaced o-rings) recently at agents. But that didn't helped.
  9. Hi Guys, I brought this pre-owned 2012 Allion 260 about few moths back. Now it has around 57k kms on it. CVT fluid has been changed at 40k. At the speed of 10-30 km/h when rpm is around 1000 and I try to accelerate the car hesitates, waits for a bit and then leaps forward with a jerk. This situation happens everyday in city traffic. Also I have noticed that if the car is moving above 30 km/h and i take my foot off the gas pedal then there is engine braking but as soon as the speedometer hits 10 km/h the car runs free. Do any of you guys (allion, premio, axio owners) noticed this behavior? Thanks.
  10. Oh now I remember!! I hit my elbow on the side mirror cover side and it turned little bit in (to the usual rotating side, the mirrors were open/unfolded). Then I turned it back to the normal position, which is fully opened position. Did I do something bad? Then after all the time the mirror unfolds, the loud squeak sound comes out and it is really annoying. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks a lot WCW.
  11. Hi, Thanks for the reply. It happens all the time now. Louder when folds and normal when un-folds. Its like rubbing a plastic or a rubber surface. I think I need to check it from someone.
  12. Hi, I own a Honda Fit GP5 2015 S grade (Highest trim level). Today when I'm locking the car from the left door lock button (I've auto folding turned on), I heard this loud squeak noise from the mirror while its on folding operation. But it doesn't have any issues other that that noise (It folds and un-folds in regular speed as usual). Then I checked the right side mirror, and it folds/un-folds without abnormal noise. I've washed the car yesterday. I don't know whether it occurred due to a water leakage into the mirror assy. Do you guys experienced anything similar to this? Thanks in advance.
  13. Thanks a lot guys. I'm planning to give it a try this weekend .
  14. Hi people, This is my first post! I'm looking for a set of recon OEM 15" alloys for my FB15 face lift model. Attached image is the type I'm looking for. Do any of you guys know a place to buy that type? Thanks Bunch!!
