  1. Anybody using Black and Decker? They have 20% discount these days. PW1300TD Model is 17 600 LKR I'm thinking of buying but unit is very small in size. Not sure whether it'll have adequate preasure. According to Label preasure is 100 bars and out put is 360 liters per hour
  2. congrats Shalika! hoping to see the pics soon....
  3. unfortunately in Sri Lanka if you drive a leased tuk tuk, leasing company will intervine and get the claim to repair the tuk even though you are drunk at the time of accidents.
  4. almost all the leasing companies will offer leases to businessmen without proper accounts. But they will look at your background, nature of the business etc and ask for guarantors. Easiest thing to do is pop in to a car sale joint who sells second hand vecles like punXXi cxr NiwaXX. Leasing company marketting guys are hanging around there to get some deal.
  5. Checklist is available in owners manual as well. If my memory is correct manual recommends to replace the air filter every 20000km. Just double check with your copy. If you are going to A*W they will go through the check list. They used to hand over a copy of it to vehicle owner as well.
  6. you guys won't be complaining about pihimbiya if you have experience of parking near a 'kasa' tree.
  7. not an expert but my two cents....driving a 2004 alto 1. No idea. I just shift the gears when i "feel" its the right time. I dont look at the speedometer. 2. 13km/l in colombo traffic. 18-20 in long distance.
  8. There is another place @ Orugodawatta called "Japan tech". Chaps who cannot secure a place at German tech goes there. Not good as German tech but a decent place AFAIK
  9. Hi, What is the recommended frequency to change the fuel filter? Vehicle in concern is a Mitsubishi L200, YOM: 2003, Engine: 4D56 non turbo diesel with odometer clocking 220k?
  10. Leasing Company will sell the ceased vehicle. If the amount received from the sale of vehicle is not sufficient to cover the amount due from the lessee then guarntors will be asked to pay.
  11. Govt servants permits were not transferable up to 5 years for a long time until MR changed the policy couple of years ago. What people used to do was sell the car without transfering the registered ownership.(so called open papers....)
  12. Agree. But is it worth to use them for an Indian Alto?
  13. Though 141 does bad in the heavy traffic it does more than 12 KMPL in highway.
