    195/65 R15 - GT Radial (Champiro) - 11000 (DOM : Nov 2015) Ethulkotte
  2. @the stig : Yes. That was what exactly happened. It was previously cracked and glued by a previous owner. Cracked by myself again while trying to remove it to to a DIY repair on player. Thanks @crosswind
  3. Can someone who has used parts buying experience for Nissan N16 can guide me to buy following? Any known place?
  4. Actually https://www.fueleconomy.gov contains very valuable information and tools on the subject. If we can make similar localized site it will be invaluable.
  5. Oh really ?? It would be even cheaper than going by foot then.
  6. Even US government trying to enlighten the buyers with fuel economy guides. "The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) produce the Fuel Economy Guide to help car buyers choose the most fuel-efficient vehicle that meets their needs." https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/pdfs/guides/FEG2015.pdf For some of the "Experts" in this forum gathering some knowledge from others about this topic is the "most dumbest" thing to do. What a weird world?
  7. Welcome. Another half-brain sri lankan car GOD.
  8. Why do you waste your time by replying to irrelevant topic for you? Just use your small brain to do the below before acting like a moron here. 1. go to http://forum.autolanka.com/ 2. See the forum topics listed there and see their descriptions. I. Auto Lanka -> General Automotive - For all general discussions of vehicles of all sorts.. II. ASK AN EXPERT -> Car Buying Information - Thinking about buying a new or pre-owned car? Discuss and get feedback about your new purchase. I would ask my question under TOPIC II if I needed to consult a half-brain car buying expert like you. Instead I've posted my question under the relevant forum topic (I). This is not only a forum for buying and selling maniacs like you who don't even have enough brain to think that other people do have separate interests and motivations than you. This is a forum for people who have interest in automotives to discuss wide range of interests. Have you seriously missed primary education?
  9. 1. Who said you that I'm seeking for this information to buy a car? 2. Even if above is correct, who told you that I'm going to buy one purely based on answers to this question? Please don't put your own "Sri Lankan Metality" on others head.
  10. https://www.facebook.com/vwcarsalenittambuwa/?fref=ts ask them. they may sometimes know.
  11. Yes of course. It needs battery power and a big expensive battery to store it.
  12. General Question. Your feedback is highly appreciated. What is the most (fuel) economical petrol car in the Sri Lankan market? 1. --- (xx km/l average) 2. --- (xx km/l average) 3. --- (xx km/l average)
  13. Yes. Sure. (As I remember) following method worked for me. 1. put your key in key hole and turn it until dashboard lights turn on (don't start engine) 2. turn the key all the way off just after dashboard lights turned off (AND BEFORE AIRBAG LIGHT START BLINKING. Don't panic you've few seconds before it starts blinking) 3. repeat this 5 times That's it. Simple as that. There is another method posted here. But didn't work for me. You may try it too if above won't work for you. http://www.mollystropicalplants.com/2012/07/25/resetting-a-nissan-almera-airbag-warning-light/ Please try it and let me know how it goes machan.
  14. After wasting couple of thousand+ rupees for a simple scanning at garages I've found that this simple method do it for you without spending a single cent. Worked perfectly for my Nissan N16. Hope this will be helpful for anybody else who experience the same problem.
  15. Hi All, Sorry for the delayed reply. I got both Nissan Genuine cam/crank sensors for 4900/- from Nugegoda as they said it comes in single pack and buying together is cheaper. (I forgot to ask the price for crank sensor only) Replaced it couple of weeks ago and problem fixed. @NRX : Yes. I think it always saves money and keep you away from trouble if you go for genuine parts for such critical components of an engine. I also called and ask A*W after seeing your post and they said it costs around 4500, but I went to Nugegoda as it was closer to me. @Twin Turbo : Yes. I was nearly fainted when saw your post. @Davy : Thanks for detailed explanation. Very helpful. and thanks all very much for your valuable feedback.
  16. My Nissan N16 engine was stopping suddenly during past few weeks while I'm on the road (most of times when idling during traffic jams). Sometimes the engine malfunction indicator also appeared. Then I found a problem with MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor) sensor connector where the connector wires were loosely coupled and got it fixed with my auto electrician. He removed the pins of connectors, soldered new wires replacing broken ones and fixed it smoothly. But couple of days after It started giving the problem again and at one time I found that engine indicator light remained on. I then hurried to an auto repair shop for an ODB scan. Surprisingly there was two error codes P0100 and P0335, that was MAF sensor and CKP sensor (Crankshaft Positioning). I doubt that it's possible to get MAF sensor error back because the electrician fixed it nicely. Do you think that there may be correlation between two errors? Changing the CKP sensor alone will solve the problem? Any idea of CKP sensor cost or a place I would look for it?
  17. Damn !!! I came home and my front number plate was lost ... How to get a new one?

Also if possible, search along the way you came when you lost it. Somebody might have picked it up

Thanks. I logged a complain at police and made a request to RMV. They said that it would be ready within 3 days. But couldn't go there yet to collect it. :)
