I'm totally agree with Stig, few weeks back went to MAZNA Motors to done a full service on My mazda demio - ( this is my first service since i brought it) it cost me 62000Rs - this is excluding ATF . They insist on changing suspensions with some brand they have and I want to change my one with KYB, since it's only the difference is 2000Rs and KYB is more reliable. once I neglect the advice from once fellow , lalith sat with me and try to convince me .. once i refused to do .. they act very rudely and I'm thinking going back again , except for a major issue.. once Demio owner ask to fix set of fog lights(reconditioned) and they charge 20000 for lights and 4000 for switch and 1500 for labor cost.. I got same from Delkanda for 12000Rs and they fixed the thing free.. only plus point is they have all the parts and you don't need to worry about finding them ... if you don't mind spending some extra cash ... then it's ok .

you can find any recondition body part from Delkanda and they are not that expensive..' Any other part if you can't find near by Shop, you can check with New RainB*w Motors Panchika waththa.. General parts like , Timing Belts and AC Filters are available in most of the places Some Mazda parts are general for few models..

I'm also looking for a Mazda axela/Mazda 3 - few are up for sale and seems it is bit harder to Sell them these days. found a Manual Axela for 2.5mil and Auto Mazda3 for the same price - both are 2004 cars.. 2008 Mazda Axela hatch is for sale for Ik**n and it was advertised for 3.2 Originally and owner re-advertise with 2.8Mill price tag and when i called it was sold for 2.7Mil.. ?

I'm also in the Market searching for a Axela/Mazda 3 and found that Most of them have water leaking problems in the trunk and it cases rusting in the trunk and floor under rear passengers . But as per some Mazda 3 Forums it's an easy fix.. Mazda 3 looks way better than Tida... ?

I got a very Bad experience about their claim handling with Coop.. I was there customer for 3 years , only 2 claims for repair and paint bumpers, two occasion -- no issue both under 10000/= I was the victim for a Hit and Run situation - a lorry Hit my car side panels including 2 Doors and Run away while it was parked in a narrow road . in the initial visit by Coop representative to check the incident, he mentioned that no need for police report.. Then get a quote for my car and the approved amount was 48000/= .. once I repaired the car and present it to the Coop Malabe branch they took photos and every thing and they said they will get back to me.. waited one month and nothing happens , call them and they informed my file was closed.. have to call few more times and after one month they inform file was re opened , but unable to pay because they are no police report ... after fighting with them for another month they pass only 28000/= so my advice do not go for them ... I switch to LOLC.. no claims so far .. will see..

Gents, I have done the Engine TuneUP - from Asnu Lanka - Koswaththa... Injector Cleaning - 4750.00 For the Garage - 2000.00 ( They did the Cleaning ) Uper and Lower seals for Injectors - 2800.00 Total - 9550.00 Now it seems problem went away and Engine is Running much smoother. Still need to check on Fuel fugures . Thanks All for the Guidance.

Still, i need to work on the middle part and thinking of ways to do it. because of the curvy shapes, it's hard to use leather for this.. total cost for all 4 Dors leather sheet - Rs 1000.00 Multibond Gum - Rs 1500.00 Not Bad for Rs 2500.00

As always thanks for the replyes.. One of my friend stops A/C before stop the Engine and start the A/C waiting few seconds after Engine start. Usually I'm always running with A/C. recently noticed that when I stop the A/C engine also Stops... last Engine tune-up is done few months back – and spark plugs also changed at that time. 2 weeks ago I noticed Engine mis and it was due to cracked distributer and it was replaced.

Unequivocal. That's not a word you hear often, but it's what we've been about the excellent package the Skoda Fabia offers. That’s why it’s our current favourite small car. However, we accept that it’s not overtly exciting, inside or out, so we’re keen to find out if this snazzy-looking new Nissan Micra can equal – or better – the Fabia’s strengths. Now, snazzy isn’t a description traditionally associated with the Micra. It was always a no-frills little car, and like the Fabia it was easy to drive and relatively cheap to buy. But as you can see, Nissan has pulled out all the stops to make this new one stylish, much more premium inside, jam-packed with interesting features and, purportedly, sportier to drive. You can order the new Micra from this month, with deliveries starting next spring, but we’ve been granted access to this pre-production car for a sneak preview. It has what will be one of the most popular engines: an 89bhp 0.9-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol. So is it destined to get to the top of the class? What’s the 2017 Nissan Micra like to drive? This is the same engine that’s used in the current Renault Clio, in which it feels a little sluggish. Not so in the Micra. Put your foot down and it zips along quite happily, giving you the performance you need not only for town driving, but also for comfortable motorway use. A big part of this is due to the solid swell of shove provided from low to mid-way up the rev range. It’s also eager to rev and, like most three-cylinder engines, quite vocal when it does, although with an agreeable thrum. It comes with a manual gearbox and five well-chosen ratios that do a nice job of keeping the engine on song. Sadly, the change isn’t so satisfying due to its notchy action. The clutch is fairly light and positive, though, and the brakes progressive, so you can drive the Micra smoothly in snarled-up city traffic. In these situations the light steering helps keep it undemanding, but out on the open road it doesn’t weight up with the consistency that you get in a Ford Fiesta or Clio. Considering that sportier bent trumpeted by Nissan, this is a little disappointing, but not a disaster. It simply means that when pushing on, you can’t judge the grip levels or place the car as intuitively as you’d wish. There is plenty of grip in the dry, but we noticed that, compared with rivals such as the Fiesta, Clio, or even the Fabia, the rear end gets a little twitchy on wet roads. The result is you can’t carry the speed through turns that you can in those rivals. But, thanks to fairly stiffly sprung suspension, the body stays well controlled and doesn't suffer from the lean you get in the softer Fabia. So the Micra is sportier to drive than before, but still isn't the sportiest car in the class, despite being firmer-riding than the Fiesta and Fabia. This is particularly noticeable around town, where it fidgets more and has a tendency to crash over the kind of sharp potholes that those two rivals would cross unobtrusively. Most of the Micra's jitteriness smoothes out once the speed rises, making the it a comfortable motorway cruiser. You do notice some rumble from the tyres at speed, but wind noise is very well supressed. What’s the 2017 Nissan Micra like inside? There’s plenty of space in the front if you are tall – both head and leg room are good – and the driving position is comfortable thanks to the standard height-adjustable driver’s seat and good range of steering wheel adjustment. The dashboard is also clear, with large dials and well-labelled switches. However, rear visibility isn’t great due to the thick rear pillars and a shallow rear screen. To help redress that, you’ll need to fork out for rear parking sensors and a reversing camera, which are options on what will be the popular, mid-spec Acenta trim. A nice mix of materials cover the dashboard and interior, making the Micra look and feel cheery to sit in compared with most of its rivals, the Fabia included. You can certainly see Nissan has made an effort, but sadly, unless you choose pricier, higher-grade trims, the steering wheel is plastic and the gearlever rubber, making these key contact points feel cheap. That’s a shame, especially when much of the competition applies soft leather in these areas, and overall it weakens the Micra’s boast of plushness. The infotainment system comes with a high-definition 7.0in touchscreen as standard. It works well, too, with intuitive menus that are easy to search, and quick processing. Sat-nav and a DAB radio on the Acenta trim are a pricey £700 option, although that does include the parking sensors and rear camera we mentioned earlier. You can make use of the standard smartphone mirroring instead. This allows you use your phone’s apps, including internet radio and sat-nav, through the car’s screen. Unfortunately, when you move to the rear seats things are disappointingly cramped. Compared with the Fabia, leg room is tight and head room is downright poor, even for those of average height. The boot is a competitive size though, and, like its best rivals, it will take a large weekly shop.

Mazda demio - 1.3 - 162k on ODO... it was with me for 2 years ..it's done 20k for this period . i have done regular maintenance - except Air filter Change .. one thing , for lat 6 months i didn't run that much.. 3000km only..

I owned Mazda Demio 1.3 1998 - manual car - DW3W - 1st Gen - not the face lift My experience is different.. I found that when compared to Corolla parts or Starlet parts Mazda Demio parts are may difficult to find.. , but they are available.. i have replaced Gearbox , Steering rack , suspension , AC compressor .. some parts i found near Delkanda are , Engine Mounts and things like that i found near Kiribathgoda ... as per my micanic they were relatively cheep . Gearbox - 19000 Steering rack - 8500 AC compressor - 5000 Can buy a used Demio from japan for 300-500$ and bring the parts and make a good profit - so parts are available.. Any why please make sure to buy a car in Good condition .... then you will be ok... and 1.5mil for 2002 auto seems a good price PS - only part that very hard to find for me was speedometer wheel - actually i repaired my old one because still i can't find a matching one to replace
