  1. Davy, Is there any typical issues in CH (CS6 or CS9) and CJ (CY4) lancers which you are aware of to check before buying ? specially after 200k km ? I have seen some CJ lancers with CX4 model code as well (VR?)
  2. Also as I remember from the manual, there are couple of small ECUs also. Front ECU is in the relay box in the engine bay. Main ECU is just below the cabin hole around the front passenger foot area.
  3. May be JDM cars don't use " ISO CAN 11bit ID ECU 2 protocol." as you mentioned (is it mentioned in the your manual itself?) and uses a propriety protocol which cost more. I have a 2011, CS3 with 4G18 which doesn't work with ELM327 even though it is an export model. But agents do the scanning and tuneup at the 40000km service intervals
  4. do you have a stock remote key and alarm unit or an aftermarket one ?
  5. are you sure about this? may be ABS unit is still covered although wearable parts like rotors are not did you try to scan using ODB2 scanner and get the codes ?
  6. Nice ride trinity Congratulations! Did you sell the CS ?
  7. @Davy, is there a model called CY3 with 4B11 (non-turbo) ? Saw some posts on other sites about timing chain stretching issue in 4B11 from MY08, is that true ? what are other common issue you have encountered in these Does standard OBD2 scanners work on this or do we need a special MUT scanner?
  8. Hi, Sorry for the late reply. Please note below prices includes shipping, sometimes which is higher than the item price itself. Better if you can find the items locally but I couldn't find them in any nearby place. New compatible Fog lamp switch from Aliexpress for about Rs.1000 = https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Fog-Lamp-Control-Switch-For-Mitsubishi-Pajero-Montero-III-IV-IO-Lancer-Grandis-MR190953/1740954786.html But using this Genuine may be easier for you as I think you don't need to swap the internals https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mitsubishi-Lancer-Evolution-Evo-7-VII-CT9A-Fog-Light-Control-Switch-Button/142731475316?hash=item213b757974:g:DyYAAOSwda1atFw8:rk:1:pf:0 New compatible Fog lamp kit also from Aliexpress for around Rs.10000 (including Shipping + Tax) = https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Fog-light-for-for-MITSUBISHI-LANCER-2005-2007-2011-fog-lamp-Clear-yellow-smoke-Lens-Bumper/32705100511.html Used Genuine Fog lamp switch plastic trim (From a EVO9 ) from Ebay for around Rs.5000 = https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mitsubishi-Lancer-Evolution-7-VII-CT9A-Drivers-Side-Mirror-Switch-Panel-Trim/382417769731?hash=item5909e01503:g:~bkAAOSws6ZZ7XWz:rk:12:pf:0 Used Genuine Fog Lamp relay from local shop Rs.300 - Just check the model number of the Horn relay and buy the same one for the fog relay
  9. There should be a plate mentioning Tyre sizes and Tyre pressure in the door arch like this.
  10. I think you can even find a first owner 141 with proper maintenance records as most of them came for permit. Also there are diesel 141s, if you are interested. (As I remember they were like 34laks for permit in 2008)
  11. It is a pretty solid car and if you are really lucky, you can find a first owner car with proper maintenance records also. You can search Autolanka Forum for the same model which has a loads for information.
