Anyone got the revenue license online recently? Know if the system is reliable at this time?

Thanks guys I went ahead and did it on Friday. @Dee Jay Yes the temp license is valid for a month hope they will post it before it expires. Online licenses will get piled up, I sure hope they won't screw it up. Things will get complicated if I had to explain all this to the police. Once a police officer stopped me and when I gave him the temp revenue license he didn't have a clue what it was 😀

Guys what does this mean. Its printed on the CR book: 527. Importation of motor vehicles in terms of trade and investment policy. Circular no: 01/2018. Can I transfer this car to my name or do I have to wait for 5 years?

@asrock Yeah try it- i usually apply with a time buffer in case things go wrong - since you don't need green test certificates either the whole operation is just a matter of minutes

Got the funds sorted to build a gaming rig. My concern is whether to wait for 8th gen prices to drop or go with the 7th gen. I'm considering the Asus Rog Strix Z370-F and a 8600K or Asus Maximus Code IX and a 7700. Asus Strix GTX1060 OC 6GB is the preferred VGA card. What do you guys think?
-
Definitely machan FO4 is on top of my list downloaded the game already, just don't have a rig to install it on I read few reviews, the 8th gen has more cores, threads and cache also higher memory bandwidth, with the right DDR4 RAM you could probably overclock to 4000Mhz and the 8600K could be overclocked to 5Ghz+ but the Asus Rog Strix Z370-F probably won't handle it well, its the only decent 8th gen MB in the SL market. Anyway all that probably won't be much useful for current gen games. If I get a good price from an online store I might go for the 7th gen. Btw machan whats the VGA you going to buy?

Today did a full detailing at Care Point, the interior is fine but I noticed some small orange like patches on my driver side door. its like burned into the paint. The guy who did the cut and polish says it mango sap from a mango tree and the only way to remove it is a touch up? I never noticed this before when I wash my car at home. How do I remove mango sap?

@asrock Mint Auto City opened recently. They use two pieces of clothes for upper and lower part of the body when washing as well. Although @terrabytetango said about appointments, I got a few wash-n-waxes at Carepoint Ethul Kotte done without much delay without booking early.

Whats the easiest route from Colombo to Nuwara Eliya? I have always been there via Kandy, never gone via Avissawella, seems that road is not that good.
-
If you take the Highlevel to Avissawella it is better, because there is some construction going on in Low-level. From Avissawella up-to Watawala the road is a bit narrow and the carpet is also not that comfy. From somewhere near Watawala to Nuwera Eliya via Hatton, the road is newly carpetted and OK. This is a nice route to take to Nuwera Eliya. You find places like St. Clair's waterfall, Mlesna tea castle. The road is not winding as Ramboda so no motion sickness as well. ?

I scraped the bottom of my car. Heard a loud thud too. Can't seem to find where it got hit. No visible damage or any other abnormalities. Should I be worried?

Machan, the Axio bottoms out easily because the suspension is so soft. I've hit the ground twice so far. Put the car on the hoist, and check on the passebfer side towards the cat converter. The 4 brake lines converge there and there is a bracket holding them together. That is the first item to get caught on something.
