  1. Si is more expensive than Ti, usually by 2 or more lakhs. But everything depends on the condition of the vehicle, right? Therefore, you may find well maintained Ti s are quoted for a higher price tag than Si s. But generally Si is expensive than Ti in Sri Lanka.
  2. Very true.... this may be why ripper gets dim light even though he has a high capacity battery.
  3. Small correction, Wattage is Voltage multiplied by the Current and wattage is instantaneous power. 45Ah means that you can draw 45 Amperes for an hour when the battery has the maximum capacity. Maximum current you can draw depends on the battery. A 45Ah (12v) battery can deliver 540 watts for a period of one hour (approximately) without any problem. If you know the total power (watts) requirement of the equipments in the car (lights, sound etc.) you can get a rough idea of the capacity of the battery you need.
  4. Usually battery capacity (if that is what you want to know) is expressed in Ah (Ampere Hour). 40Ah is sufficient in most cases.
  5. I had a red color car sometime back. After applying wax (which is not a good wax as 3M) the cloth I used to wipe out wax became red. Which means a tiny layer of paint is removed by the wax. But then again it is a cheap product which I cannot remember the name even.
  6. Aren't they 56 and 72 kmph (35 and 45 mph) ?
  7. Press the 'MODE' button until you get the desired air circulation mode. Normally, when you set the mode and the blower speed, it should be 'remembered'. If you press the 'AUTO' button, air circulation and blower speed vary depending on the desired temperature and environment conditions.
  8. Kelisa would be a better choice than the Alto.
  9. I had a Daihatsu Cuore car and was converted to LPG by L*ughfs (10 years back though) and if my memory serves correct, they advanced the ignition claiming the same reason you pointed out. I did the job at Galle L*ughfs Center and the person who did the job is not there anymore. Any technician who has reasonable knowledge should be able to do it.
  10. I think he is referring to Suzuki Kei...
  11. I recently visited a L*ughs Service center and they told me that to change ATF using the machine, I must buy two cans (8 Litres) of ATF. Is this same in other places like KP, PitStop etc?
  12. He needs something bigger than an Alto... but swift / vitz are in his list...
  13. Is the Familia better than 323 in terms of build quality and comfort? Are there any variants in Familia/323? (like SE, LX G etc in toyotas)

    Obd-i Or Obd-ii

Mate, some Japanese Domestic Model vehicles (JDMs) do not comply with the normal OBDII. Simply the protocol is different. Sometimes the manufacturer is using their own protocols. (Toyota specially) That's why it is very difficult to find a compatible scan tool. Read the following thread to get more info. http://forum.autolanka.com/index.php?s...45&hl=obdii
  15. Friends, I brought this topic back without opening a new one since the heading explains what I want to know. One of my friends is considering to buy a car. His budget is around 1.5m. He considers fuel economy, maintenance and resale value. The car should be manufactured in 2000 or later. Following are his preferences; 1. Mazda familia /323 (what is the difference between two) 2. Mitsubishi lancer 3. Suzuki swift 4. Toyota vitz 5. Nissan sunny FB15 which one is the best option? Or suggest any other model he can consider. Thanks.
