  1. Seems your bumper shock mount broken, this might occur when you hit road bumps with full load (excess weight distributed to shock) , and one of the main reason to make shock failure in Allion and Premio. Recently I changed my rear mount I got a nasty hit with full load and ended with ABS Sensor failure and broken mount. The repair guy told me to replace the mount asap cause it will cost my shock if i run with it for prolonged period. Seems that's the problem you got now The mount will cost 2.5K if you get it from T.Lanka (Recommended).
  2. Bro Why don't you consider Continental as well, Check the ContiComfortContact CC5 Its very good all-rounder, good dry, wet grip with low road noise. give you a balanced experience
  3. Hi Nehru Think I can share few options which I got when I was trying to buy a suitable vehicle for me. You said your'e from Trinco right...? I'am from Batticaloa. I would say stay away from Hybridz if your'e from Eastern province. Finding a qualified service station here is finding a needle in haystack. Most of the grease monkeys here don't know what they're doing. Again taking the vehicle to outer area(Colombo, kurunegala) for even a small repair will cost you some fuel which can be avoided if you go for conventional vehicles. You can see there are tons of hybridz crawling and may wonder where they doing the maintenance. I bet you all have their own sad stories and opted out the E.P service stations mostly. If you consider Mazda ..friend its different category car (More sportier, good pickup, stiffer sport setup suspension but a gas guzzler) don't ever expect 15Km/l on Mazda. For your budget and If your'e OK with pre owned vehicles I would recommend Premio or Allion. Brand new will cost around 7-7.5 mills Both are not very thirsty you can expect around 14-18Km/l with A/C if you find the sweet spot (Eco mode), holds the resale value perfectly ,Softy suspension setup, and moreover spares are everywhere and reliable though. Again it's just my opinion but if you are into more sportier, driving pleasure, rugged driving don't even think about Premio or Allion. Mazda is there for you Happy hunting
  4. Ha...ha of course yes, that guy went speechless and tried to cook a new story like its the first step of troubleshooting blah...blah...blah. I said cut the crap for god's sake and learn first about vehicle repairing before ruining someones vehicle. Person gone to silent mode. Thanks again to all of you for your valuable suggestions , Keep up the good work
  5. Hi Guys Thank you so much for all your valuable suggestions. Finally the issue was sorted out +1 Bravo ...ajm you nailed it The left rear wheel speed sensor was the culprit ,The place I went in Ampara is very good and more over they know what they're doing. I recommend this place to all eastern province drivers, the guy who inspected the car said the ECU error code is common and anyhow it will be thrown if the anomaly occurred in ABS system , but he got another sub code which describe the problem clearly (Something like L/H Rear Speed Wheel Sensor Open / Malfunction), once the replacement done voila....the ABS and Handbrake indicator gone off. Then he clear the engine check light by using the same software. Now my car is fine and yes i got the same punchy feel of the brakes there should be something coupled with this ABS problem ,once it solved the brake force also back P.S : The rear wheel speed sensor (Reconditioned) cost me 9K with the labor charge of 3.6K
  6. There are few places , but the reviews are from other drivers not appealing , but i got some of the good reviews about one place in Ampara , hoping to give a try. Mm...I don't know whether the feel is ABS or EBD. initialy when i was braking I could feel a holding force which is like grabing the vehicle tires. Now its completely missing ,now with the same force I can't stop the vehicle.. thanks for all your valuable suggestions ...its really helpfull
  7. Thank you so much guys ..to save me from a hell hole I'am ready to take it to kurnegala or kandy but bit afraid to drive vehicle in this condition (i can seriously feel the vehicle lost its ABS braking ability) further I'am worrying more about Engine warning indicator. Is it good to drive the vehicle for such a long distance with this kind of problem ....?
  8. Hi Davy ,sorry I don't have any of those but just now i called that guy and asked about error code he said that he got something similar to break_ecu
  9. Hi Guys Today I got a weird issue while driving , Suddenly my Allion NZT260(2011) started to blink the ABS, Handbrake Indicator and Engine warning light also I felt the miss of ABS when braking, I rushed to a mechanic and he did a scan of ABS system and said ECU failed and need to replace ,I can't believe that guy cause he is not very famous and its not easy to find a professional in Batticaloa. Further he said its common in NZT260 model if its common or any body encountered it already please I need your valuable advises, and best place to sort it out , Thanks in advance

  11. Exactly The Don, well said I'am a die hard fan of Mitsu Especially Lancer, but recently i drove one of my relation's Civic FD 1 and i'am totally washed out by its handling, acceleration(might because of 1.8),Interior and ride comfort . But I heard FD3 and FD 4 slightly under-powered isn't it..? this is the thread I was mentioned above, lot of irrelevant details (gone too far from topic) Thank-you for your valuable suggestions You got me my friend Seriously Not in to hatches..........Not at all
  12. Dear Friends This is My First Autolanka Thread I've gone through entire topics in car buying and couldn't find one or two would cater my need. the recent Honda Or Mitsu also contains lot of irrelevant details(like 2C D-Engines). I'am going to buy a registered car, Budget is 3.5M can push up to 4.0 have few requirements 1.As I'am youngster i need a definite sporty look 2.Fuel consumption could be reasonable (expendable) 3.Drive thrill -- not going to compromise in this (But please no MAZDA 3 i need to sell the vehicle when i buy my dream car Lancer Evo ......Yay ) 4.Interior -Most important requirement (should be solid, high quality materials) and done lot of research finally short listed both Honda Civic FD s(any 1,2,3,4) and Mitsu Lancer Honda has nice look, wide variety of engines (1.8-1.6) , of-course stunning interior(I like its Multifunction Telescopic Steering Wheel) Lancer has very sexy appeal if i consider Honda, Sporty, can compete with all honda engines but interior sucks I'am in desperate condition to choose my car , point me to the right direction, further it would be great if any one provide current price tags of each models Any helps regarding to this will be much appreciated
