  3. Any one who cares to share the experience with Harrier?
  4. Long time back i saw dark blue Honda Jazz (European version of Fit) up for sale which had manual transmission. that was like 5/6 years back. thats the only manual fit i have come across so far. I dont think Fit Aria comes with manual tranny either. but you can find the export variant of the same model which is Honda city with manual gear box. Fit Aria has a 7 speed triptronic variant as well. you can take one for a test drive and see. when you buy these cars make sure that the CVT box is taken care with proper maintenance. besides to that these are quite reliable cars.
  5. hello everyone, i have been hunting for a Nissan xtrail during past couple of weeks to be used as a second vehicle. while been on the hunt i came across couple of Toyota Harriers within the same price range. if there are any harrier owners or any one who has driven one, could you please share your experience on this vehicle. i am talking about the 1999 / 2000 model. i was seeking for a xtrail with a manual tranny (preferably GT version but quite rare) But all the harriers i find here are with auto / triptronic boxes, leaving that aside, how is the pulling power of harrier? ( it has got a bigger engine than standard manual Xtrail. if the pulling power is good i would consider going for it over a manual xtrail) fuel consumption? ( since its gonna be used as second vehicle fuel consumption would not be a major concern i am just curious to know how much likely it will do) looks wise i prefer Harrier over Xtrail. are there any major repairs to consider particular for this model of harrier? over all driving experience? ( i have no plans to use this on off road driving so four wheel drive is not compulsory ) Cheers
  6. Options available for you Toyota : Harrier , Rav4 , Cami Honda : CRV, HRV My personal choice would be Harrier or CRV Please do care to run a search too. There are couple of threads discussed on this topic.

  10. yes. sounds like a vaccume leak mate. which parts need to be checked?
  11. Guys, i own a 2003 model Honda Fit Aria sedan. Today morning when i popped its hood i noticed a sort of hissing sound coming from the engine bay. couldn't exactly locate where it comes from but sounded like its from intake manifold area ( i am not 100% sure though). More over when i step on gas the hissing increases and it give sort of a sound comes from a blow off valve. couldn't inspect the car further that time since i was rushed for some work. just got back home and planing to get it checked tomorrow morning. what this hissing sound is likely to be? could it be a leak from the gasket ? your inputs are highly appreciated . Cheers!
