  1. I've hit 50,000 for current Michelin Energy Saver tyres. 185 70 R14 ? Michelins are used for front and, Nexen is used for back, Nexen is around 30,000 and good amount of threads still remaining.
  2. You know where I can fix this?. And the rough cost for the repair?
  3. @spectre For all Japanese KYB Excel - G shocks. For front 13,000 * 2 + 6000 (worn out rubber parts + bushing + service charges) For Rear 12,000 * 2 + 3000 (bushing + service charges) Total cost around 59k
  4. Seems the reading are way out of sync. Sometimes idle it shows 0 , Sometimes it works correctly.
  5. Car is in shutdown, when I took the picture Thanks davy, Will try to give some high revs, to see if it works correctly.
  6. Anyone experienced the issue RPM not returning to zero? When engine stopped, stuck around 500rpm

  7. I have a Toyota Allion 240 and, today I noticed that, the RPM meter not returning to zero. When stopped it was showing around 500rpm. and after starting Idle is showing 1200-1300. Anyone know how to fix the issue?. Note : recently I have changed the ATF, not sure there is a connection. Thanks.
  8. Yeah when finding a Toyota you need a bit of a luck as well. Got a 2004/2007 Allion 240, 2 years back. 100k on the clock. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Love the ride and the comfort ❤️
  9. Yeah, should have checked before buying, But GDI worst mistake. Again look at the total cost for those repairs, still within 5 laks losing range? after so many issues?.
  10. Already lost 5 laks, high time to buy a Toyota.
  11. Changed ATF oil, this Saturday, Now the ride is so smooth. Thanks all who helped

  14. R u serious? I used only genuine parts until now, ? and no plan on selling sooner.

@aruntantan Most owners I know claimed that FD series has hard suspension. Newer FB series has much better suspension aimed toward comfort. Since you are moving from an Allion you’ll notice it or your wife will surely say that?. I think that newer Civic has much better ride comfort. But I have only driven the FD3 so FD1,FD4 might be different. I felt that the ride is a bit busy. Will not be uncomfortable during short journeys. I also had made up my mind to go for a FD1, but main idea to gave it up was the ground clearance

@tiv depends on the brand. But my car is mostly a weekender only. So not that much of an issue. I guess they can last between15000-20000kms

  19. Thanks. I think its a overdue. Its not CVT AFAIK, do you have any idea of the cost?
  20. Got the car around 100,000 on clock. Did normal services every 5000km and when I questioned about the ATF, service guy said color was ok. And yes its light reddish. But I feel there is a slight difference in shifting.
  21. Hi all, I have a daily 50km driven, 2004 Allion 240, now clocked 140,000. I have no previous records for ATF change. Now I feel a little "dugh" sound when the gears shifting. Is it a good idea to do a ATF change immediately? Thanks
  22. Wife was using a 2004/2007 model and sold it for 2.3 mil, around one year back.
  23. @alpha17 yes its Excel-G. See the attachment.
  24. 135,000 km on ODO. Was using the factory fitted one. It was the KYB Japanese one, not sure its Excel-G, will confirm, once I get back home, have the boxes with me. Planning to change the rear ones also, since they are also the factory fitted shocks.
