And as far as my education is concern I m sure its far more than yours,(at least I have 2 more degrees than you) You must be one of them who couldnt pass govt GCE A/L and then went to some private institution and then found a job may be in IT sector. (you have typical behavior to be that king of person). And I m such a fool for trying to get some decency here. Obviously I cant do that. And you ask what I do in Sri lanka well I dont work in Sri Lanka and before you ask how I get a permit well lets just say govt servants are not the only people who gets permits there are others who does. And I would never buy a Montero or prado for my permit. And I dont judge people by the car they drive or they speak english fluently or how deep there pocket is. In Sri lanka job interviews are done by english and if you cant speak english you dont get the job even that job doesnt require english. Sri lankan airlines is the only airline is the world that give the greeting in english first and then in sinhala all other airlines in the world give the greeting from their mother tongue first and followed by english. Well I have gone to USA, Australia,Thailand, UAE, Singapore, Malaysia out of those countries only Thiland, Singapore and Malaysia promotes public transportation. USA, Australia doesnt even have a good public transportation except for New york and some other big cities. So looks like you have only gone to the 3rd world then. Well you said about I m going in SLTB season if it weren't for permit well thats for you to think because I dont wanna bost my self like you do. But remember if someone can buy a car after paying 10 mil (even for a permit) that person is well off in the society and probably dont have to use season ticket in SLTB. Maybe you have forgot about the days you have use SLTP season ticket but I never forgot about those days infact I m proud to say that I have use SLTB and private busses in my life time because that keep reminding me where I have come from cos I didnt come to this world with the silver spoon in my mouth. Selling a permit might be illegal, but its not as illegal as the things done by politicians of the country.

Hello, Looks like you have not travelled outside of the country, go and see how car is a necessity for people. Well you might have time to wast on going on public transportation but some of us dont have that time. But people like chan5 says garadiya for people who buy cars and use them thats why I m against for it.

Well chan5 read my status, we cant say garadiya to anyone (either selling or buying) unless its a godaya who has no idea about why people buy cars and with the development of the world cars have now become a necessity for people.

Well selling permit is their business, so its good if we mind our own business just like the people in other developed countries, and that goes a long way. But unfortunately our people have used to check out business of other people rather than minding their own things. Crosswind is a perfect example of that. Calling names for people (like garadiya). Well if someone has money to buy monty or other car sing his own money (permit or non permit) its their business, even if someone buys a car for permit they pay huge amount of money for that car comparing with a person in another country (ex USA or Japan or UK). So whats this fuss about. Thats why I said just because someone buys a car he is not a garadiya.
