it 1.2 engine, No I didn't stop on a hill and try to go with Second. when considering your answer, I think I am changin to Second gear little too late (After car slowing down) On normal roads, there isn't any issue and perfectly accelerate according to engine rev Thank you for quick respond

I have below issue with suzuki swift car and need to know it is common or any fault belongs to transmission Normaly this happen on hill climbing and when changing 3rd gear to 2nd gear. When going uphill with 3 rd gear, sometimes its not accelarate in middle or upper section of the hill and car gets slower. Specially this happened when I slow down the car ( eg: 10 - 15 kmph) due to traffic then I change the gear to 2nd and try to Accelerate, but it not happening and it getting slower and no picup ( regardless of how much I push the gas paddle ) So I should put it to First and Then accelare. I don't think there is a good place around kandy because I tried same thing few months ago. Then I do all seat covers and carpeting from pasyala and the quality is very good.

I checked with Clea* P*rk and to do full tint job with 3M they offer 34 K (Including front windshield with heat / UV reduction clear tint) as I'm from Kandy, it is easy to goto Clea* P*rk Kurunagala Branch, Anyone here who knows the work quality of this place ? Thanks

Hi all, yesterday I was driving in the night (40 kmpl) and forgot the bumper ahead. I saw it just few meters before (5 - 7 m ) and suddently break and I think the vehicke reduced the speed to 20 kmpl juse before go through the bump very roughly After that incident check the car but didn't see major issue and driving also smooth as earlier What i want to know , Is there possible issue due to this type of incident ? and How can I find (or What section should I check) those things ? Thanks Ripper yes, you re correct. I visited both agents (sales agent in kandy) and found tNavi is better than other GPS mentioned on this topic. price also little less and customer service (the way those agents provide answers for pre sales questions) of tnavi agent is satisfy than other.

yes, on a flat ground it is ok and everything fine, however all these post related to hill start as mentioned on subject line on this thread

"..do you try to stay stationary with a clutch balance .. " No, vehicle is moving upto the hill slowly everytime, but the clutch not fully engaged for few seconds. RPM less than 3500 most of the occasion. (because when I fully release the clutch soon, when the vehicle begin to move, then the engin stall)

Sampath Gunasekera I tried your method and looks like it is easier than others and able to do without roll back most of the occasion. However, after 10 or more minutes of practice, i felt there was a mild smell like tire burning and friend told me it is clutch burning is this true ? and is this due to nature ( the way i use clutch) in my practice ? If so what was my error and how to solve it ? Thanks

Sylvi Thanks for valuable advice I didn't check the battery with all switch off, so i think it is better idea and will check in next few days to see what happen
