  1. Got two varints > Demio and the Demio sports Demio sports got scoop lights, rpm gauge, 6 speakers, Autolight system and rain sensing wipers, fogs, factory fitted alloys(15' -16') and it has a 1.5 ltr engine. But to help the lady > Just the Demio will do..In the local roads If you like the UFO looks go for the Yaris/vios.
  2. Was it a timely decision? Will they have issues in clinging onto their Brand loyal customer base with this product? ( I think Honda and the Brand loyalty plays a big part in Sri Lanka than a Brand like Toyota and its customers - question is based on that) Like to hear your thoughts on this...
  3. 2004 Lancer CS1 or 2 manual is a good choice, the mileage and prices> you'd better find out.
  4. Japanese alloys are much lighter, and can be better (genuine) looking too.
  5. Mate, m looking for one too, still haven't found the type of insurance company you're talking about...... by the way congrats on your purchase!
  6. The Honda slogan is " Power of Dreams", any idea of marketing the insight under that?
  7. http://www.bureauveritas.com/wps/wcm/connect/bv_com/Group/Home/Your-Industry/Automotive JAAI is just for the japanese vehicle inspection and Bureau Veritas is an International organization, both are valid internationally ( but don't keep up the trust on a single sheet of paper - If it's suspicious, closely inspect the car and do a test drive!
  8. 1) Yeah, It's kind of a rapid saloon (will smoke the other saloons on the road ), it drinks a lot too.(around 5k's per ltr) > non turbo will do 7-8. 2) No, ain't got no records. 3) Goes around near 2mil... 4) Well, you know, whether it's a manual or an auto, the person who's gonna buy it have no fuel concerns at all. The manual will be much responsive for sure. Can't expect a huge price difference between a manual and an auto in this kinda saloon.
  9. 210 Km/h - Peugeot 407, 2.2ltr Manual > E01...
  10. Prius and the Insight look like they are only halfway finished (body design)...i mean, c'mon ....
  11. Hybrid cars don't drive exactly like the cars we've been driving for decades. For one thing, the idle-stop technology is often noticeable and can (at times) be a bit clunky. And finally, hybrid cars are just not performance cars. Not yet, anyway. Quick acceleration and blistering top speeds are not on the hybrid's list of pluses. The hybrid car range includes SUVs. How many people really need? Role of buying a hybrid and off-road environment seems a bit illogical. Do not buy unless you absolutely can not do without good reason.
  12. civic is renowned for its performance, so does it make any sense to fit a 1.3ltr ? Trucks are a different story.
  13. Whether the hybrids will do good or not, fitting a 1.3ltr with IMA in that CIVC is really bad for the reputation of that car cause, there are 1.6's, type Rs running with the same body figure, which will accidentally fall into that category. Civic (Hybrid) face won't go with the 1.3ltr engine.
  14. Performance-Axela Styling-Axela no doubt (more dramatic, europian styling) Handling-Axela, sporty suspension (Not all cars in this category got multilink suspensions in the rear) Fuel Economy-Corolla Maintainence- It's how you get at.. Driving Satisfaction-zoom zoom of course, fun to drive and sporty Cost of replacing parts-Corolla Got nothing special to say about the famouse family sedan, corrolla stays in the boring place as it used to be. Drives a 2007 axela (heard that M3 consumes more fuel than the axela and it came from thailand(assembled)) M3 105bhp, Axela 114bhp
