Its normal, i also did the same tune up with EGR, Injectors, Plugs. But still there's a slight vibration some times. How much Toyota Lanka charged you for this ?

Hi Friends, As per my experience nu 01 service provider is Toyota L*nk* & WORST IS ST*FFR*D MOTORS. Unt*d Motors also giving a satisfied service (i have not visited it fr 6 years) But friend of mine who lives in Rathnapura (Using a Mitsubishi Out-lander) getting an exceptional detailed service from Rathnapura branch. What he said was service is better than Colombo agent. If you are a Honda user do not go to agent or believe what they say as they have cheated me several times to achieve their sales targets where Toyota agent never does.

I also had the interest of buying a Leaf. One year ago when i inquired from the importer *V Lanka they told that 12 charging station will be establishing within one year and cost for full charge will be around Rs 700/=. Again I called them last month & inquired how many charging stations have been installed. The answer was people are purchasing cars with out asking about the charging stations and they have postpone the project of charging station. As I got to know from a person who is using nearly 15 units of electricity is needed to a full charge. It runs more then 150 km in Colombo.

As advised by the agent I did at 40000 km. But for honda cvt its 15000-20000 km. And also there was an engine oil filter for 2800 rs whoch can be used for 10000 km. Has anyone ised this

To day i Changed the CVT oil of my vitz. I purchased the oil from toyota lanka for 11.200/-, after changing the oil you have to calibrate the car. it cost 2000/- from a outside garage.

Hi all, I have a KSP 90 1000 cc vitz, it was purchased one year back & not much used from the day one, last month i started using it for daily travel, but the fuel consumption is around 8 kmpl in Colombo high traffic. My previous 1500 cc one did 7 in Colombo, then i did a full EFI tune up last week but still there's no improvement. This car did 18 kmpl outstation before the tuneup. yes, it was replaced with old O2 sensor which was in the car

Dear all, My car is Honda City 2003 model GD 08, 1500 cc, IDSI engine & milage is 117k. There was a problem with its catalytic converter & replaced a reconditioned catalytic converter of Corolla 121 (last week), as the garage person told that it would match with this. After installing it, the check engine appeared. When diagnose showed as O2 sensor 1 & 2 circuit malfunctioning. But i don't see any difference in fuel consumption (i did nearly 600 kms after that) (my O2 sensor was replaced 2 times & when it was malfunctioning fuel consumption was really bad). My problem is, 1. Is this due to a different catalytic converter the sensor signals are wrong ? 2. any problem with O2 sensors ? if any expert can help this matter it would be a great help for me. Still i did not pay a single sent to the garage owner & his agreed amount for the jib was rs 6000. Is there any place where i can buy a reconditioned catalytic as it was not available in delkanda area.

Hi, finally i replaced the lambda sensor ( a used one) & now fuel consumption is bit low ( city 7 kmpl / outstation 14 kmpl) . before it was 10 in the city & 16 outstation. These are the lambda readings after replacing the sensor. Sensor 01 - 0.72 v (replaced one) Sensor 02 - 0.84 v can this happen due to voltage difference ?

yes , the problem is similar to the last time when the O2 sensor was bad. This started happening on rainy days ( within 5 minutes after rain starts) & becomes normal after the rain. But last week on my way to Colombo from Southern high way faced a heavy heavy rain. then the check engine appears & i thought it 'll be ok after the rain. but after 10 days even its still there. After that i did nearly 200 km.Any way i have to replace this for the 2nd time. But how can i know why this is happening ? is this due to bad cat. converter ? but this sensor is before the Cat. converter.(1st sensor)

Hi, in my honda city (GD 08- Fit area) shows the check engine light on rainy days. i diagnosed the matter & it shows as O2 sensor. 2 years back also i replaced the O2 sensor from ST****D M***RS. Can some help me with this issue. 1.What are the possibilities to happen this on rainy days ? 2.Should i replace this again ?

I have seen a 1997 model Nissan Petrol 479 000 KM 65 - 4xxx

With the current prices is it worth to use 95 octane petrol ?. Rs 1,000 - 6.172 lit - 90 oct Rs 1,000 - 5.882 lit - 95 0ct for 1,000 rupees only 0.29 lit difference. with the performance, better consumption & low emission i assume that 95 octane is more worth. What do you think ?
