My Honda Civic Ek3 is doing that some times for no reason (May be there is a reason). Most of the time if it's pulling 4 people. If I'm staying on accelerator it won't happen. When I need to slow down by breaking or engaging clutch the engine stops by it's own. Lucky i can get it started without effort because it's a manual gear one.

140 Km/h on the 3rd Gear, in my EK3 Place - On uncompleted part of southern express way in Imaduwa Reason why I couldn't go any faster - The carpet ends after 2 KM (Shit) , Right hand side mud guard came off (I think previously it was help by one or two two nuts) Update Did 160 Km/h on the same EK3 Place - E01 Reason why I couldn't go any faster - All 3 other passengers thought it was fast enough.

Actually I came across with some of these facts on the internet. But i didn't want to believe that my car doesn't have VTEC. Anyway thank you very much for the info.

Hey, I'm having a Civic EK3 MI. I can see the Vtec solenoid on my D15B engine. Same engine used on Vtec cars, right ? correct me if I'm wrong. But never felt the Vtec kick in on higher RPM's. I thought it was a mechanical failure. Is there any expert can explain this. Many Thanks !
