Hi Rumesh, Thanks for the reply. I had consulted Honda Sri Lanka agent, and they also suggested me to either clean the engine, piston heads and rings or replace Piston heads and rings with newer ones without the oil burning issue. I had the same oil burnout issue for sometime, and the latest incident being running engine without oil and ended up in "LIMP" mode.

Hi Guys, I am facing the same issue with my 2013 6500km done GP1, and right now fallen in to the "LIMP Mode" :-(. My micanic too is suggesting replacing the newer reconditioned engine which is almost brand new which will cost aronrd 75k. Is there a way to identify a faulty engine by its engine number? I searched out, but could not find a any linkage between engine number and chasis number. Please Help.
