  1. >>Yeah, rear brakes are leaking fluid. Need to sort it out! fix it ASAP else you might end up with a huge bill.
  2. check the ICV it might have dust so clean it up and also check the AFM as it might have rust inside it which might be blocking the air flow from the air filter and if blocked it wont mix up with petrol causing un burn petrol and the engine cannot idle due to that. Check and clean the ICV and AFM.

hey VVTi, Did you sold your 323i ? when did this happened?
  9. Hi bugs, it is not a VANOS version. if i am correct M52 B25 means you drive a 323i? Anyway what I want to know is that does this engine perform to it's reputation as described in various forums/articled on the web? as now this is a 20 year old engine what are the key maintenance areas in the engine which have to be taken care of? yes i have heard that it is a very thirsty engine and as a person who has experienced driving a similar kind of engine how much does she able to put on with in city and out of city?
  10. Can anyone who has experienced this engine give me some insight about thus engine? like performance, maintenance, etc.
  11. I read in http://www.autolanka.com/forum/index.php?/topic/3199-e36-320i/ forum that their is an E36 318i, imported BN and 19- in superb condition. Is that car still available as I am looking for a good well maintained BN E36. PM me if possible.

  12. VVTi, i thought the "EXPERTS" are verifiers like in the current field of computing to avoid the effect of the GIGO principle seems like only few run with verifiers.
  13. hi VVTi, well the forum says "ASK AN EXPERT" so even though the question is dumb the experts should have understood and come up with how the value of an E36 is carried out. I mentioned my budget and what models i was looking for and if the experts are not stupid why cant they come up with how the price tag is set for an E36 rather than making a mess out here. if anybody came up with like you saying "Basic Rule for E36s in Sri Lanka, Good ones are hard to come by, the ones who are good are not cheap, regardless of engine size or registration number. " with some numbers that would have been more informative. anyway thanks for your info vvti
  14. grow up Watchman don't try to prove over and over that your a candy licking kido. just reply with info about a car not about the rubbish you eat every day.
  15. Hi Stig, what i also mentioned into your reply was that "i dont know that the 301- was used abroad or not" so that may answer your question. about the number plate matter your also going in the wrong path due to a confustion made by a s****d member in this forum. since it is not nice to mark a car i want go in to detail about any of these cars. about me portraying my self as a bimmer fan... what i have to tell you is that i am here trying to buy a good bimmer and if you have some intel about owners about to sell one then pass those info nothing else.
  16. i saw an old post related to BMW thread where you have published couple of pix of your 325 or maybe 323 i am not sure but i saw some pix. i think one stupid member whom i don't want to name is making a total mess about my question and the continuation of that conversation. my point was the condition of the said 19- is not satisfying but the 301- or even the 18- 320 is satisfying.
  17. looks like you got candy and that sums up it all KIDO and if your hurt why don't you have one coz kids always stop crying once they see some candy.
  18. sorry pal if your the owner of the car mentioned and if your not why not move from that Grand Vitara to that bimmer?
  19. thank you for the tip but i started this thread to find a good e36 not about how many zeros per K anyway forget that. what supra said by "take what you get" is by don't look for the number but for the CONDITION and i agree with him but the problem here is that the CONDITION of the car in mention is not satisfying comparing to the 318i i have seen lately. my advice for you is this thread is a place to find a car(BMW) not a place that your thinking that should be.
  20. yes i agree. but my point is the CONDITION of the 19. the 301- is a 1993–1998 and 19- is a 1993–1995.so the 301 might have been imported in 1998. so i don't think their is a problem with brand new tag unless 301 is a UK where it might have been used their and bought which i don't know.
  21. Supra, for me the number plate is not important but for a big six of 19- number in THAT condition spending 19K is useless.I agree with you that this is a rare model and i have seen only this bimmer and another (member VVTi) car and nothing else. The best part of this all is that 320i/ 325i is a really hard find in the market.
  22. supa the first two are 1800cc and 20k for a 318i is not going to happen. the third one is the one i am looking for but the licence number is the issue. if i could get a 300 number plate 325i or a 320i then it would be great as i am really finding it hard to find one(through news papers)
