  1. @ Berm Moper No, Not in ranting thru net to tarnish carmart. as mentioned in last , to be aware. For all the people who are like me. For all 6 years I had my own cars, (all of which I've serviced with agent (Honda) or other) I didnt not look for broken part in car. (Yes, I will do in future). I look for the service quality, and dont look at AC vent (specially in passenger side, under teh seats, etc). You dont need to get irritated. if this was obvious , OK. it's for the people who dont know - if there is any. Sorry If it's so bothering. (anyway, I thought the blog is to post these freely). I could not find a direct thread to add on. that's why started a new. Thanks others for suggestions. I do repair near pelawatta, but used to service diagnose with carmart.
  2. I presently have a Peugeot 406 (99) and since it's been serviced with Agent by previous owners I also used to service it when possible. But I have been told before that they do not do it properly by friends who use it. Yesterday (21.02.2013) I serviced my vehicle at CARMART and when I was on the way back after service, I found out that they have broken AC vent (loovers and controller). Both passenger side loovers and the controllers are broken. When I called and told them (initially the service adviser then the service manager), what they told is I should have checked before leaving. Of course we do check when leaving , but basically it's whether service is OK or not. We generally dont expect the service center to break the vehicle. If this is the case we might have to go with a assesor to these places as they are supppose to break rather than service. (attached a photo, you can see loovers broken and the controller is missing. It was on the floor) PLEASE BE AWARE WHEN SERVICING WITH "CARMART" AND TRY TO GET ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER TO KEEP YOUR VEHICLE SAFE.
  3. Anyone with this issue, please ask Stafford Motors to issue a letter and get the amendment done at RMV **********
  4. Hi All, Please note that most (I think all) American Accords (CF9 97-2000/02) models chassis no are erronuesly printed in the Book (vehicle registration doc). Eventhough it should starts with "1" most books are printed with "I" as the starting digit.(Hard to Notice, But BIG error) This is a mistake done when Prototype registration is done by Stafford and RMV for the initial vehicle. Eventhough it's a error done by them Stafford & RMV both are now reluctat to accept the error and I'm still left with out an answer. STAFFORD SPECIALLY ARE UNWILLING TO CORPORATE EVENTHOUGH THEY'RE THE MAIN PARTY FOR THE MISTAKE & TRYING TO PUSH IT TO CUSTOMER. ALL USERS, PLEASE CHECK YOUR BOOK WITH CHASSIS NO/ VIN NO IN THE VEHICLE SO THAT YOU CAN IDENTIFY THE ERROR. PLEASE ROUTE THE ISSUE TO STAFFORD SO THAT THEY WILL AT LEAST TAKE A EFFORT TO CORRECT IT WHEN QUEUED. ANYONE WHO DO NOT KNOW THE ISSUE WILL THINK THAT YOUR CHASSIS NO IS A FAKE IF YOU DO NOT TAKE ACTION. Thank you
