Same engine and transmission. Off road could be hampered by long wheelbase. Its like a truck to drive and has larger overhangs at the back than the 110.

so its not a good idea for my uncle to buy it for off road purpose

Toyota mentioned that it does 29-30 km/l but I think it can do 21 km/l in SL just like the Prius.

The 29-30 is on the unrealistic Japanese test cycle. In real life, it gets about 10% better fuel economy than the regular Prius.

@Magnum; what your referring to is the carnet. If you bring a vehicle on the carnet you have to take the vehicle back after 6 months or pay the tax and keep it. But not sure whether it becomes transferable. If its a foreigner its different, depending on his investment he is given a permit to bring his vehicle from abroad every 10 years I think, but again its not transferable.

Well you could get the owner to give a legal document. But in the Mercs case it is said to be transferable.

The one in the ad is a conversion, only the FJ45V came with 4 doors and they're rare as hen's teeth. There's also a yello LWB Mitsubishi 4 door conversion driving around the streets (and puddles?) of Colombo.
