  1. Have you checked the DFSK 580 FB group? There are people interested in this vehicle even when they know that it has a gearbox issue 😂
  2. This woman is the most annoying person on the internet
  3. Hands down the best cars were made in the 90s, they had the ideal amount of creature comforts/electronics. They were comfortable to daily drive but not over filled with electrics to make them boring.

Indeed, perfect example is the 70 Series Land-cruiser and Merc W124 (Slightly older to call as 90s car). although these doesn't loaded with electronics, it's a well designed and well made cars. i think Manufactures realized later that they couldn't milk enough money out of these after they sell, and design shit box cars we are having today.

I recon the best cars are always made “today”.

The best cars to enjoy driving whilst still being cheap to run and maintain were probably made in the 90`s.  😉

Yes even true with the BMW s

  4. The way I see it, Camry is basically a bigger Premio. Camry makes sense in a market where the Premio doesnt exist. In SL, I would look for other options.
  5. Japanese cars have a TV tuner feature on the head unit, along with a video input option. You can connect other devices through a VTR cable which looks like this : You can run a secondary head unit or any device through this option while retaining all the factory features. I'm not 100% familiar with the wiring but basically thats how it works. I have a setup like this on my Crown and it was done in Japan. For the Crown they use a Beatsonic kit which looks like this:
  6. Why dont you consider the Mazda 6 as well?
  7. First of all you will have to remove you head unit and take a look at how its wired, sometimes your speaker wires may not be able to be removed, if you can its fine, it not you will have to run the Pioneer as a secondary head unit given your car has an audio/video(VTR) I think he is planning to take of that CD deck and installing a Pioneer head unit in that spot with an aftermarket trim.
  8. You should see it in white, theres one near my house and it looks stunning
  9. Modern day Nissan is the Alfa Romeo of Japan, when they release a new model, the vehicle will look super exciting. Give it couple of months and its problems will start to surface
  10. You wont be able to replaced the head unit with an aftermarket one as the A/C controls are inbuilt into the head unit. Therefore, you have two options: As iRage mentioned you can replace the head unit with a unit from a car which was offered with reverse camera, but you may have to get the original reverse camera and the wiring harness also. You will also have to find someone who can do the conversion job properly. You can install an aftermarket rear view camera with a built-in display to which you can plug in an aftermarket camera.
  11. Took the car on a drive to a twist back road, which gave me a opportunity to snap some pics
  12. That interior looks better what was offered here in Australia. My Crown now has an aftermarket section somewhere in the middle near the cat, it gives a nice deep tone under load but at other times it will be quiet. I tried to make it even more louder by replacing the mufflers also with an aftermarket set up but that turned out to be a terrible idea and went back to stock mufflers immediately. V6 engines with loud exhausts create lot of drone inside the cabin. If comfort is your priority you will end up driving with the valve closed most of the time, which is pointless and probably not healthy for your engine. It will sound nice when you drive it hard and between gears, but once you drive continuously at a certain speed it becomes properly annoying. Talk to an exhaust specialist and get an idea.
  13. I thought its Australia as well for a second I think this pic is taken around Kurunegala if im not wrong
  14. Looks like a nippy little car, I love these light weight simple cars!
  15. Congrats on your purchase, some interior pics please?
  16. As much as I love to, they arent eligible to import. In terms of JDM wagons, we get Nissan Stagea, Toyota Crown Athlete JZS171W and Toyota Caldina
  17. It is, SR20VE was available with Nissan’s hyper CVT on the ZV and ZV-S trim
