I read somewhere that the new Kenwood units have crossover feature built into it.

I have passive crossovers for my speakers and tweeters. They make a huge difference but i dont think active crossovers would be good as passive ones.

I checked out the Android head units online, they seem to be various features but not sound settings, some dont even have a full band equalizer. In comparison my Carrozzeria has two menus of sound settings such as DTS, music/cinema mode or positioning. I'm gonna stick to my current head unit till I find one that has good sound quality and features.

Add a nice amplifier to the existing unit. That would get the best out of your speakers.

Yes that’s my plan and also add a subwoofer
