  1. Anyone has ever tried this. Looks cool!!!! https://www.cliaraessentialoils.com/products/vehicle-diffuser
  2. It happened to both key fobs. And always at my garage in the morning. And it is in country and only interfered by monkeys and elephants!
  3. Dear Friends, I do have a Mazda3 and now it is used for more than 2 years and driven for 35k+ kms. My problem is when I am going to unlock it in first time of the day it refuses to unlock even I am very close to driver side door. I had to open it using the key few times and it starts honking and illuminating hazards and I managed to silent her by press unlock button while inside the car. But after first time it works as nothing happened and remote functions for fair distance. Do you guys have any idea regarding this? Thanks in advance.
  4. Dear friends, my car is due to lend for my cousin's homecoming. Is there any precautions, special tapes or any advice to protect the paint from decorations and specially when removing them. And is there any method of removing decorations to prevent paint from peeling/scratching... Car is soul red Mazda3. Thanks in advance.
  5. Congratulations dude! Just saw the thread !! Are you fully recovered now.
  6. I have tried to bring down a non hybrid axela (1.5/2l) through an importer. But none of them were interested. They all were busy with premios and axios. Did not even try to check one. And finally settled with agent for regular 3. I have opened a thread to get support in decision making.
  7. 6, If you can go for 2.5 one. It is full spec. Anyway 2l one also will never let you down.
  8. Just for knowing, what are the explanations/reassurance given by the car sale guys when you inquire about those prior to buying and after buying?any difference pre and post scenarios .
  9. Dear friend , Have you ever thought to attend your wifey to driving classes. Ya I know changing thinking pattern of them is difficult but living without a car you like too. And learn to drive a manual is easy than they think. Once happened to me and ended same way. You may convince her to learn manual. Good luck.
  10. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="SANCAR" data-cid="289717" data-time="1456410540"><p> <br /> Decide who is the Troll...<br /> <br /> I'm asking about Nissan March K10 and you are mentioning other cars. Be specific.<br /> <br /> I know some cars which belonging to my friends and they have reached 15km/l. (starlet EP71, Daihatsu Coure 1996, Maruti 1996)<br /> <br /> Most of the new comers start a new topic in "car buying information" to get more ideas for buying a car. They may have zero or little knowledge about the field. That is why they are Asking from Expert. So called experts should not capture weak points of new comers and should not try to humiliate and discourage them. Experts are good teachers for their students.</p></blockquote> I am not an expert. Okay pal, K10 is one of the best car in its class. Eventhough they are old they are pretty solid and the best car nissan produced. They does 15 to 20 kmpl in the city traffic may does even better in the highway. They will definitely be troublefree and you just need only pumping fuel.No maintenance will be needed as they are japanese made. Are you happy now? ඔබට සතුටුයිද දැන්?
  11. You can reach 15 kmpl in most above mentioned cars only by pushing it in the return journey . Am I the only one smell a troll?
  12. Bro, If you have only that amount of money and do you really need a car (mean you desperately need a car, eg.small baby, pregy wife, job requirement ..) then simply forget your love and go for the need. Maruti 800s with late K plates go for cheap these days. Cars are not like wives , you can chase your dreams once you are capable enough. Till then ride one safely. Wanna stress "safely" cos they are lack of lot of safety features .
  13. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Crishan" data-cid="289522" data-time="1455795059"><p><br/> <br /><br/> Not an expert. But my 2 cents.<br /><br/> <br /><br/> Firstly, forget the gifts. It's cheap marketing stategy. Will your kid have any benefit out of a bag/mug/bike etc when reached 18 years? My suggestions....<br /><br/> <br /><br/> 1) Example: If your salary is 100K, try saving LKR 5000/= monthly basis in a kids savings account in a stable bank at least with a Fitch ratting of AA- (Assuming the rate of interest is 5% per annum the balance after 18 years may be LKR 1.7 Million. You can use the follwing link to do the calculation)<br /><br/> <br /><br/> <a href='<a href='http://www.thecalculatorsite.com/finance/calculators/savings-calculators.php'>http://www.thecalculatorsite.com/finance/calculators/savings-calculators.php</a>'><a href='http://www.thecalculatorsite.com/finance/calculators/savings-calculators.php'>http://www.thecalculatorsite.com/finance/calculators/savings-calculators.php</a></a><br /><br/> <br /><br/> 2) Approach a stable & customer friendly insurance service provider & sign up for a Kids education / investment plan. This will give a return after 18 years but will continue to fund the policy in case when the policy holder meets with an unforseen event. There are options to obtain an immediate fund in case of an emergency & after the policy matures upon child reaching 18 years. Discuss with an experienced insurance advisor & make sure you understand T&C well.<br /><br/> <br /><br/> 3) Obtain a personal / familly life insurance if you have not obtained already. This will be usefull in the event of an emergency or if you need to fund the wedding of your kid, give as a dowry to your daughter or for higher education.<br /><br/> <br /><br/> Edit: Diversify your investments. Do not stick to one option. Have differnt options to cover long term & short term financial needs.</p></blockquote> Thanks a lot.
  14. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Hoonigan" data-cid="289519" data-time="1455791643"><p> <br /> I'm not a financial expert so please don't send your kid with a shotgun in 18 years <br /> <br /> I would rather get in the habit of setting aside a particular amount every month (probably in a separate account/short term FD) and once you have enough, but small quantities of gold (24K coins/biscuits) and maybe a piece of land down the line. It will be better to have a mix of assets/investments rather than a chunk of just one.<br /> <br /> Again, maybe a more learned member can suggest a better game plan.</p></blockquote> Thanks a lot.
  15. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="sathyajithj99" data-cid="289455" data-time="1455708651"><p> My father had a Seyl#n tikiri account for me. I don't know whether they still have that sort of account anymore. But I remember I used to get a lot of prizes from them like school bags, mugs, t shirts and board games like monopoly. I really liked that.</p></blockquote> How do you feel the amount you got after you bcame an adult (I assume you are an adult , not like political experts in fb)Did you benefit from that money? And if you mind tell me how much your father saved and how much you got after 18 yrs. (You may say it as proportion or percentage if you not wish to disclose the real figures.) Finally is it really worth?
  16. Thanks for your view . So you do suggest there is no significant advantage in minor savings account and it just give a capital to bank. And yes with the depreciation and inflation the money the kid get in 18 years may be next to nothing! And there may be financial experts in this forum. So , what can we do to fulfill my objective(apart from giving good & sound education).
  17. Yes , there are lot of insentives. Banks try to give lot of things. What I bother is what will the benifit for the child when they get older. Sometimes these gifts deviate us from the main objective of opening an account for the kid. Main objective is to build a decent amount of money to start/boost their future. So no point if we get less amount of money in the end after receiving sometimes unwanted gifts. I am not offended on gifts and thats why I requested the forum members views regarding those accounts .
  18. Dear friends, Thinking about opening a savings account for the kid. There are lot of advertising about them mentioning gifts, schols, high interest and ect. I wish to ask you guidance as I do not have any clue. And general advice regarding the topic also will be highly appreciated . Ps: My salary goes to BOC and standing order for other bank costs 50 rupees per tranfer.
  19. This may be OT, But if 10-15 yrs back if we said car shut down, it was bit strange. By that that time we usually shut down computers and cars stopped or stalled. But now shutting down a car became normal. I wonder the perception about cars were changed due to we got more close to computers or cars got more close to computers!!!!
  20. If you still think so, see how many Maruti800s and Altos in the road and how percentage of them are driven by ladies. And mind that all of them are manuals....
  21. You may try with Araldite or with cataloy.
  22. Did not know about Audis & BMWs. I just pointed it out.
  23. I don't know it is good or bad, but from the distance & for unfamiliar eyes, 2,3&6 looks same. What I feel is Mazda is overenthusiastic once they found a nice design and applying it to their all cars.
  24. What do you expect from transmission..... to flirt with you??????
