Greetings my fellow autolanka experts, I am having a trouble finding a battery for my hyundai eon car. Any hints and tips of a battery dealer will be appreciated. My car is still with stock battery and it seems like it is giving up now. It is a 35AH R Type battery with a bottom hold. Thanks a lot folks, Safe driving!

Hello everyone, Is there any way to find out how many vehicles are registered under my NIC number...? I have owned several motorcycles during the last ten to fifteen years and I have sold them. I recently came to know that some of them are still under my name. I have got the whereabout information and the current owners' details on one motorcycle but I can't find out the other three motorcycles and whereabouts. I can't remember their registration numbers as well. If there is any way that I can find out which vehicles are under my NIC number then the problem is solved. Is there any way I can do this?

Does anyone know a good mechanic or a garage for Hyundai Vehicles...? I have a 2008 Santa Fe and it has few issues with the engine such as turbo. I already got the turbo fully restored by Turbo Mart at Boralesgamuwa but the problem is still there. The engine oil keeps coming from the turbo and it drips to the ground. When I contact the turbo mart they say it is something to do with engine compression. The mechanic I get things done lives in athurugiriya road. According to him, the turbo is faulty. Now I am torn between two paths, One says to restore the engine (Turbo mart), the mechanic says to get a brand new turbo and everything will turn to normal. I already took it to nearby garage dude and he checked the engine compression, he says another story. He says CRDi engines always get weak compression after doing around 30,000KM after a full restoration. I do have certain mechanical knowledge and I think all of them are playing bullshit with me. I believe the turbo is doing alright, the mechanics are just bluffing. Any help is greatly appreciated. The problem in short-: When I run the vehicle for like 100 ~ 200 KM after the turbo got repaired, the engine oil was dripping from it. I sent the turbo for a repair at turbo mart because of this, now everything runs smooth but the oil comes back to the turbo section and according to turbo mart, it is because of my engine is under compression.

Hi everybody, I might sound like a total noob with this question but i have to ask you guys because i am sure all of you are much better informed on this topic. I had good bikes few years back and i was an idiot to sell them. Most of those which i bought are from websites like autolanka riyasewana etc because back then they were available among second hand users. The last lovely good bike i had was an Yamaha SR400. But now times have changed and these kind of bikes are no where to be seen in places where i use to buy them. I went through ######.lk almost everyday for past few months looking for new listings of advertisements and all i see is indian built bikes. There are plenty of Hornets, Jades and CB4's which have been super over priced. Alright, i'll stop wasting your time and go straight to my question. "Where can i go and buy a bike like Yamaha SR400 , Honda CB400SS, Honda Clubman or a similar bike? do you know anyone who deals with such motorcycles? someone who imports them from japan and sell them as stock condition used bikes as it is? please let me know their contacts or shop name" Thanks a lot.... :))

How good is a micro geely MX7. I know what most people will say, rather go for a jap car but this is solely for tourism. I am planing on buying one for tourism because it's price and the model will be newer with a newer number plate. (Travel and tourism companies are real shit heads, they want new numbers, new cars) otherwise i'd definitely go for a jap car. How good is this for the purpose?

Hi everybody, i am planing on buying my first four wheeled vehicle ( CAR ) , so it won't be a brand new or new even. I have an eye for this old mercedes benz w123 which was manufactured in 1981 ~ 1982 somewhere. I am looking for a finance company that can finance a old car. Are there any in sri lanka? because everyone i spoke to says they won't finance anything below English numbers. Well that's rediculous in my opinion. So anyone has an idea about it...? I can bare the cost 50%, at least if i can get 50% financed, it'll be great. Thanks.

Planing On Buying A Car For Tourism, Recommendations?
sharkteeth replied to sharkteeth's topic in General Automotive
Very good Recommendations friends, how about N17 Nissan? bad on fuel? what did ya mean by not being economical when it comes to Suzuki Liana? Bad on fuel? -
Hi friends, i am planing on buying a car for tourism purpose. Do you guys have good recommendations?. I'll tell you my budget and requirements. * Car has have space for lugage, boot is required, and should have english numbers within past 5 to 6 years * Good fuel economy * Price is below 2.2 Million Sri Lankan Rupees. Currently i am looking in to Suzuki Liana with some J numbers, because it has good fuel economy with japanese reliability. Some people recommend me to go for a N17 Sylphy Nissan but i am not that aware of the fuel consumption. Any recommendations?

Hi everybody, i am here for a little advice. my family is in need of some cash and we decided to cash our car. which is a viva elite 2012. We are planing on selling it and buying another car for lower price somewhere in between 1 million and 1.5 million max. Can you guys recommend us some models to look in to. We are looking for the fuel economy and good looks. Maruti, tata nano is completely out of the question. We were thinking of buying something like a KIA RIO or HAYUNDAI ACCENT, any good or bad? what will be fuel economy like?, any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Hi everybody, I stumbled across this post while going through the forum. I use to ride cruisers, i love them. And next thing i like in motorcycles are the enduros. I had these bikes with me. Honda CM125T Custom Bajaj Avenger 180cc Yamaha Virago 250cc Yamaha Virago 400cc Honda XL125R Honda XL250R Yamaha TTR250 Currently owned and using Honda XL250R (non RFVC) All of these were great bikes. But my personal opinion is, best motorcycle for sri lankan roads and conditions are the Enduro/Offroad stuff. because for first few KM the road is good and after that normally road turns to off-road.
