You have a loose accessory belt. You can tighten it or apply some v belt spray. Sent from my GM1911 using AutoLanka.com mobile app powered by Tapatalk

Did you do a compression test? Do a compression test and check all 4 cylinders. And are you sure that oil is not leaking from somewhere else? Are there any oil stains in your garage Sent from my GM1911 using AutoLanka.com mobile app powered by Tapatalk

Guys, I've used fuel system cleaners on all my previous cars and had good results with 3M and Wurth products. However all of them were non GDI cars. I currently have an Scross 1L turbo. No particular issue in general but its nearing 30K and i want to keep it running smooth. Whats the wisdom on using fuel system cleaners on GDI car? Im asking specifically because ive noticed on previous cars that the engine has a bit of a loss in power and slight knock when these are added. Cant seem to find anything online on this either.

Sometimes in older gen cars you need specialized software to read. I had a BJ5P which didnt have the odb2 plug like yours. Most of these cars are running obd2 protocols but dont have ports. I had to use an app called FORscan to get it working, never worked with torque or any other app. Maybe there is one specific to Toyota.

Hi Guys, Long time no see ? So im interested in buying an compact suv for around 4-5 million range. Currently my main options are the tucson and sportage. Im thinking of going for a crdi awd. Not that i will be going off road but i might end up traveling out of colombo in some rough roads so the ground clearance will come in handy. Looked at a few past threads but most are too old to get anything useful. 1. Are there any know issues in these 2 ? 2. I sort of like the facelift over the 2011 model. Was there anything other than lights that they had changed in the facelift ? 3. Also was there a turbo and non turbo variant of the CRDi 4. Any other options you guys think i should consider ? Im not too worried about fuel economy and numbers but needs to be reliable. And can someone explain to me why the sportage in general has a higher asking prices than the tucson, considering they are almost identical ?

Best case, Atf is old and is too thin. Worst case your reverse clutch pack is worn out. It's better get a repair done than to buy a recon gearbox. Try changing the Atf first. Sent from my FLA-LX2 using AutoLanka.com mobile app powered by Tapatalk

That doesn't sound normal unless you are on an incline. Might be an issue with the gearbox, better get it checked. It can also be something simple like break binding but better safe than sorry. Sent from my FLA-LX2 using AutoLanka.com mobile app powered by Tapatalk

That's why you should always use jack stands Sent from my FLA-LX2 using AutoLanka.com mobile app powered by Tapatalk

When did you repair the gearbox? If its within 6 months they will repair again. Check with chandana. Sent from my FLA-LX2 using AutoLanka.com mobile app powered by Tapatalk

The price seems quite ok but are you sure about the mileage? A. 10 year old car that has only been driven 5000km every year? Have a look at the previous emissions reports and check the mileage. Also personally, lady driven and doctor driven are two of the biggest red flags for me. I know people in this category who don't even know how much air needs to be pumped into their tires. I would be extra cautious of the previous maintainance records, mainly check the Atf change intervals. Sent from my [device_name] using http://AutoLanka.com mobile app powered by Tapatalk

CIVIC FD1 COLD START GEAR SHIFTING DELAY
The Stig replied to Civic Fan's question in Mechanical problems
Have you and the previous owners changed Atf every 40k or did you just change when this issue came? Sounds to me like your forward clutch pack is worn out, take it to Nilwala motors and let them have a look.
