  1. What ever it is we don't want a skyline going into the hands of a ricer, go for a civic which is commonly r@**d by them.
  2. The N16 exsaloon going for around 1.8mill was 2.3mill brand new back then. but 6.3 for a sunny outrageous
  3. Now Lotus is going to have a merc engine. Well Pastor is going to do more harm in the front of the grid than from in the back, There is rumors that Hami is joining Mclearn-honda next year due to the german owned team favoring Rosberg, but not sure, if that happens Alonso's quietness may be that he is jumping inside a merc next year. What ever happens i hope Alonso gets a competitive car, he may not be the 4 times world champion but he's the best driver in the grid, and if he's taking sabatical i may remove my subscription for star sports HD for next year. F1 will not be nice without him
  4. Its contra indicated in the bullock engine, it is poisonous to the innocent creature
  5. Personally i think the n17s are a bargain for their price, it might be underpowered but it's a good family car for hatchback money.
  6. I have seen some lights go off when i do that, Its a simple reset, but if the light comes back after it, check it with a scanner (best go to the agents) I tough it was the esp(stability),
  7. Just drive for few kms if it dosen't go away try to reset it may be remove the battery and reconnect, If not go to the suzuki agents, it's essentially a suzuki swift inside
  8. Wishing Jules Bianchi a speedy recoery
  9. I feel that from you'r choices the Lancer EX will be the best, It has a better economy than the 141 and has a lot more options in the fully loaded model. And it's still the current model (the 161 has replaced the 141) and even comparing those the Lancer EX seems better, See the BRATT topic for a good comparison, and about a satisfied owner of an EX
  10. Just buy a lancer EX it's a great car, go to BRATT topic for more info,
  11. Post some pics when you get it mate, We love to see babies born to autolanka members
  12. Didn't you consider the new santafe, Although its a little bulky it drives like a car in traffic, it's very economical for its size but it will hit some depreciation, and in today's market don't expect any vehicle not to
  13. I recently asked from p*tc* L*nk* and they told me it would be around Rs.10 000 for the vehicle, seems good if it really works, that's why i asked if there is some one here who tried it
  14. In the monty's case they really do come but in trims such as the super exceed which is almost twise as expensive as a normal one which is outrageous. The sound proofing in the GLX is much lower so i decided to get it to a little bit more quiet by using these any experience?
  15. Any new updates? I feel i need to get it done soon comments from any one who has done it
  16. A friend of mine uses a one bought for the previous permit (about 7 years old now), surely the plastics are awful and the ride quality is crap, but he dosen't have that much of problems, Surely a YOM 2000 Terios will be much better than a Nomad.
  17. My experience with unimo is good and the Nomad has got a mitsubishi engine so will be easy to maintain even without any specifics, And the body parts could be exchanged with dihatsu terios parts afaik, so it will be fine. and yes there are ample amount of parts for hyundais and kias now,
  18. I suspect that the corolla will hold it's value much now, And why not buy one that suits is taste. His dad may enjoy taking it for a spin every once in a while, As long as hes able to take it to the garage when it needs to it would be ok. So my suggestions would be the TP12 or the Cefiro A33 the Legacy B4 will be too much of a hand full, as Dr.Honda hitha says the Accord will be good too. If going mainstream i suppose a newer Lancer CS1 or a N17 will be better than a 15 year old corolla.
  19. Congratulations, and welcome to the mitsubishi owners club in auto lanka. Pics Pics Pics
  20. Now it does about 16kmpl long run and about 10kmpl short, it's the manual 5seater one. It did better when new.
  21. What's you'r budget like, Check the gearbox if it's auto coz hyundais of the previous era (2000s) had a problem in them, shift to D and check if it starts to move smoothly, and just check in an other topic crosswind mentioned about a petrol pump issue, check if the vehicle was on super petrol and pump super when you use it, To wrap up it's a nice car Buy the baby and post some pics
  22. Both Jeramy and clark's son has given advice, What a lucky guy you are, BTW The vehicle is great but don't buy it for the resale value.
  23. Good to know that, Our santa's (santa fe) drinking super diesel since she was born, no hiccups yet for 7 years, hope nothing goes wrong with our diesel
  24. There where petrol ones bought before the permit and diesel ones after it, Don't know much about the petrol ones but, the diesel ones do great on fuel, the maintainence cost is very low, lower than japs (eg- oil filters and air fiters Rs.1000/= range even for the diesels) There is slightly more wear and tear than japs but you can live with it coz the repairs are cheaper, Finally, the company is not bad they don't try to rip you off like t*y*ta l*nk*, and the services are cheap, they are very polite and even remembers you'r birthday, but the downside is that that they take a long time for services(almost a whole day).
