  1. Do I see female undergarments hanging over the front passenger seat? Gosh... Some people...
  2. Spotted at Weliveriya. Funniest thing was that it was driven by a pretty elderly person who was "flying" at about 30km/h.
  3. I doubt you will be able to find the service manual for the Lancer A7X series online (searched, but failed). But I have shared the engine workshop manual in this post. Since this thread is particular to the 4G91 engine, May I suggest you post Lancer service manual related stuff in this thread.
  4. I havent really had the opportunity of admiring the 4G9 series although I distinctly remember driving a Galant with a 4G93 GDI which was pretty amazing; So it's always nice to get to know more about these machines. PS: I have updated the link on this post as I noticed just a while ago that the link was broken. You'll find the 4G9 engine electrical and cooling service manuals (plus many more) in the Lancer CK and Mirage archive.
  5. Thanks for sharing mate. This I'll definitely have a look at! Just in case you have missed this thread: http://forum.autolanka.com/index.php?/topic/9732-lancer-service-manuals-available-here/ You might want to check out the Mirage workshop manuals.
  6. If you went through the link above, you would have found the cost for the emission test. It's Rs. 950 for your Stellar by the way. For information about what sort of surcharges you're looking at, follow this link.
  7. Yeah, same here. And I think it has worked pretty well. At least better than the previous Fusion which didn't look as good as this one.
  8. Oh. I totally missed that part. Thanks for sharing anjulau78! LancerL, there's your answer right there.
  9. I was wondering what that Ford emblem was doing on an Aston Martin until I read the title Looks awesome!
  10. For your first question: The figures they capture are at idle speed and at 2500rpm, so I doubt it will be an issue since they run at that rpm with no load on the engine and because it’s just for half a minute or so. I took my first gen Lancer for the emission test just a few kms after the engine was overhauled and it was fine. That was based on my mechanic’s advice of course. As Peri said, if you're in doubt, consult your mechanic. Edit: More information here
  11. I think Watchman is talking about this thread.
  12. No, the cracks cannot be noticed at a glance after the repair. Watch and you'll get a clear picture. The crack repair kit I used is similar to what's shown in the video.Hope this clears your doubts.

    Motorque

Loved the 7th episode Supra_Natural! Great selection of cars as well! Are you guys able to borrow a race track or something to shoot for example the BMW 3 series and stuff? Somewhere that is not as crowded as the city roads maybe? You guys could do some pretty neat camera work if you had a little more space I think... just a thought.
  14. A friend of mine replaced the front windscreen of his Mini and it was fine during the first couple of years. But later it started going white at the edges. This is due to delamination and there is no other solution but to replace the windscreen because it consumes the entire windscreen with time. So as The Don has explained above, even the replicas have the lamination, but I guess it's just not built upto the standards of the genuine thing. This should be just one of the issues. An example of delamination... Sure you've seen this.
  15. Same experience here. I have used a windshield repair kit on two different cars with very small cracks on the front windshield. Worked pretty well on both occasions; the cracks pretty much "disappeared".
  16. Damn... I thought race drivers are supposed to settle their disputes on the track!
  17. Spotted at Piliyandala junction last Saturday... The Nissan Sunny M16 Hope this has not been shared already.
  18. The one I saw on AL classifieds had the full bodykit, GT emblems on the fenders and trunk lid, smoked headlamps and gauges with red lettering, wonder why this one doesn't have all the exterior mods. It doesn't even have the full bodykit.
  19. It was the real thing as far as I can remember. I didn't know such a version existed until I saw that advert.
  20. I remember seeing a gray one on AL classifieds some time back.
  21. It was called the Trad Sunny by Nissan itself I guess...

    Brakes

I once experienced a rattle from the front wheels (Lancer CS3A) and found out that the brake pad retainer clips were missing. I’m not sure if the CE110 has these, but these retainer clips prevent free movement/rattle of the brake pad within the caliper (also preventing fall off). What I did was purchase a new set of brake pad retainer clips and the issue was solved. You might want to check if this is a possibility with your car. Hope this helps.
  23. Yes, I Googled (a piece of text from your post) because I was positive that there was no way you could have come up with that answer all on your own. At least have the honesty to paste the Yahoo Answers link instead of quoting other people's posts as if they were your own. I have no intention of taking this thread OT, so I won't speak again. You're a fraud, that's all.
  24. Googling and finding out something and copy pasting on the forum.... anyone can do. http://uk.answers.ya...06131303AALJzO4 Next time, at least try to find the answer for the correct question. Thank you! Edit: As for the question, I agree with Schiffer and the rest who said that balancing and an alignment is necessary. For the second question, I think the Allion has a speed sensor and not a drive cable connected to the speed o meter. So this should not affect your speed o meter reading. Experts, correct me if I'm wrong.
