  1. Automation is really good but its important that they are been tested thoroughly and should not be released before that. Ex - Tesla road sign and traffic light detection system where the car stops at green light. Its a know defect right? Why on earth its available on customer vehicles?? Also seen quite a few where the car brakes for a second when passing bridges, which could be catastrophic to the car behind it. Again I'm not against these safety features but needs to be tested before enabling on customer cars. Customers should not be testing dummies on public roads.
  2. Machan, as for lighting first try upgrading the headlight bulbs first. I got 35W HID low beams (projector housing) and LEDs on High beam & Fogs (Reflector housing). The reason I tell you that is I learn from one mistake. Let me explain, The light bar I got is an Auxbeam 32in 180W one mounted on Rago modular brackets (which I can add multiple lights on same bracket). This light bar way bright when I had halogens and now I can hardly tell if its on or off after my headlight bulb upgrade. So highly recommend headlight upgrade first. Since I install behind grill I think the light is somewhat wasted too due to the grill. Front of the grill or on roof might be a better option. Cleaning mud and all the junk is a little pain too, but not too bad with pressure washer. I also think the cheap price of US$90 for this 32inch light bar is there of a reason vs a US$1000 Baja design OnX6 30inch light bar which seem to have soooo much light output as per reviews. In short first try headlight upgrade and then look for lightbar option and not make the mistake I did buying cheap lightbar
  3. The feeling when your car featured at Toyota page..
  4. Reminds me of this Porsche brake cost video;
  5. There are chinese camera's that connect to your phone but beware. Here's one of my videos where I tried one of those camera system which did not work. I was not getting video on my phone. Why I shared a not working thing? If you want you can take a risk and try a similar system so you can use your phone as a screen for an aftermarket camera.
  6. Next time you can use Google translate initially so you can get some idea what to do to prevent damage if its a critical problem. Later you can ask the question so people like iRage will help with whatever knowledge they have.
  7. I thought it was just me. I too couldn't see the image when it's opened with firefox. I was able to see on Chrome. Let me try to save the image one more time and attach. Can see now?
  8. Dang.. That thing looks bloody awesome. Would be awesome to see how the real one comes. Kia And Hyundai is raising the bar every time. Absolutely love Palisade and Telluride. I'm little disappointed Genesis moving to small turbo engines. Wish they continue with N/A engines and beat Toyota & Lexus for reliability. As for 4Runners you know they have locking diffs stock right? In addition to all the tech LC200 has 4Runners got locking diff too. (Took this pic to have fun with that roll over warning on the sunvisor. LoL. But good enough to show the diff lock button next to a-trac.)
  9. Found this on FB, credits to original owner.
  10. Yeah, after I watched this I realized many more videos available on this topic.
  11. Looking so good mate. Please share if there is any pics or videos of off-road. Please continue with the progress..
  12. Another I problem I see is when they are need to be fixed they take a long time as Tesla is a small company and not able to build parts faster. I've know cases near where I live a tiny fender bender take 3 months to fix at Tesla certified facility since you can't take it to a regular body shop. In US insurance will give a loaner car only about a month and you will be out of a vehicle when Tesla is in a shop for fixing.
  13. I wonder big companies not into EVs because they can't or they're not interested yet. I think if big companies want to they will do it like General Motors coming up with promising products like Hummer EV. I don't want to spoil the fun. Check out the explanation from Engineering Explained. I think big companies like VW, Nissan, Mazda, Toyota, Honda are not stupid as you think. They have enough money for R&D to cater the demand. (Just my opinion and could be wrong).
  14. මල්ලි බොරැල්ල හන්දියට කීයද? නැත්තම් මීටර් ටැක්සි ද? (Brother, how much to Borella junction? Or is this meter taxi?)
  15. Reminds me of the Viva 660cc. Absolutely love those small engines. Viva had rpm to 10. Turn off A/C you get Turbo boost.. (Just kidding)
  16. That's a disgrace to the RX8.. Noooooooooooooo....!!! They atleast could have used in the Mazda Roadster (Miata MX-5).
  17. Union paid for the expenses for years (I don't know the exact no of years) and later union has informed that we should take over the payments and when the case is done they will re-reimburse the expenses plus she will get her retirement and pending salary. If the same happened to someone who can't afford the expenses it would be really sad.
  18. Its pathetic the courts system in SL. My mom is in a labor court case and its dragging for 20+ years. Everytime re-schedules saying other party not attend or a judge changes. I don't see its going anywhere anytime soon. Just spending so much money for lawyers appearing just to hear next hearing date. I think we have paid more than my mom's pending salary and retirement. I wonder if other countries do the same? if the other party does not attend for say 4 or 5 times the judge should take a decision right? I wish our country will someday have good courts system, law and order.
  19. Haa haa.. No worries machan.. I myself joke about my vehicle about its down sides. LoL. So no worries at all. Wranglers are nice with few things I don't like. I've test driven the JL 4 door Rubicon and at highway speeds the steering wasn't good as a IFS, Roof insulation is a concerned too, second row space also small for my kid with a child seat. Since I've personally experienced how poor IFS are vs my buddy's Wrangler I wish I have all solid axes. I was like on a see-saw with poor wheel articulation with IFS vs Wrangler had all its wheels on the ground thanks to solid axles and sway bar disconnect. My buddy also got a lift kit called "RockCrwler" I think it had fox shocks / falken shocks and the ride was much improved. Steering wasn't that good though. But I bet its doable to get it improved. If Wrangler was reliable as Toyota I would have jumped on it rightaway. If not I would have to pray that LC70 Wagon or Doublecab would be available to buy and start my mods there. Shocks + Tires and seats would be the first. List will go on an on. Will be same story as my current..?
  20. @fiat fan why do I see all these tempting Jeep videos.. In addition to all the goodies on Rubicon solid axles + twin lockers + sway bar disconnect a 6.4-liter 392 engine with 2in lift and 37in tires + winch...? Don't really care about seats and door mods. (May its best just watch and not buy, else my wife kill me for changing vehicles)
  21. Now since Accord taken CVT route and some models having 1.5T engine famous for oil dilution problem I bet Camry will win for some time. I like Toyota offering Camry with AWD option but sadly AWD option seem only available with 4cyl engine, V6 only got FWD option. Even though they are more family friendly car not a sport sedan the quad exhaust look sexy (compared to previous generation).
  22. That is true. I too like the feel of independent suspension Pajero & Infinity QX80 on road.
  23. Machan, LC70 sold till date has front+ rear solid axles. As has as I know all other Toyota SUVs sold today solid rear axle ne? LC200, LC Prado, Lexus GX, Lexus LX,.. I think they all come from Toyota plant in Tahara, Aichi, Japan. I searched a little bit more on that factory and I saw that every 1/5 Toyota vehicle is road testes and every single Lexus vehicle is road tested from that factory. No wonder they have such a high quality. I hope mine was 1/5 that was road tested too.. LoL..
  24. Machan, Does Nissan has any with solid axles and lockers now? And Pathfinder, Xtrail is no more SUV right? Even Patrol is all independent suspension right?
