  1. I was not in the car machan. This happened when Toyota driver is bringing the car back to my house after service. So insurance, police report, everything is taken care of Toyota since its there responsibility. I got a 2021 Subaru Ascent until this mess is solved.
  2. Meanwhile at KMeeg's garage.. Toyota 4Runner vs Honda CR-V.. KABHOOM..!! I guess not bad for a 72.5kmph hit. (Pic from dashcam video)
  3. No personal experience but I've heard good thing about general. But my question is does the tire says its "Made in France"? The reason to ask that is because I bought a tire set brand Falken tires and they were "Made in Thailand" which I'm not very happy to see that vs what I see from wiki.
  4. Just a side note. When I was looking for a snorkel for my vehicle the shop asked me "Do you want a high air intake or do you really want to do deep water crossing?" So looks like just fitting a snorkel won't make your vehicle ready for water crossings. It needs some work in to it if you want to use it as a snorkel. I'm not into mechanical stuff, just shared what I got from the shop. As always please feel free to correct me..

    Honda Fit Liftkit

Me and a buddy trying to build a Mitsubishi Outlander lifted and some mods. Won't be that cheap. It got relatively low profile tires 215/55r17..☹ Don't want to go out of topic but very excited on that. My buddy is not fully into it. Need to convince him more.

    Honda Fit Liftkit

Yes I've seen few Honda Fit lifted. For sure it will be a fun project. Personally would I do it? NO. But definitely love to see someone taking that risk / challenge. Would be awesome if I could drive a lifted Fit. Here's a link of a beautiful lifted Fit- https://www.autoindustriya.com/auto-industry-news/filipino-enthusiast-builds-a-honda-that-s-fit-for-off-road/amp
  8. These rock sliders bolt right in to the existing bolt holes on the frame. Didn't have to drill any holes. I did apply additional rust protection coating before fixing them for added protection They seem to be pretty strong. I have lift the 4runner from the side and it did not bend or feel weak.
  9. They are from a company called RSG (https://rsgoffroad.com/) machan. This company is closer to my house so I saved lot of money since I was able to pick-up in person vs spending money for shipping. Owner is in a group that I'm in so got a discount as well.
  10. Thank you for your kind words Davy.. 😀
  11. LooooL... I'm going to steal this for my FB.. May be I will post after few days because my wife is still angry with yesterday's suspension parts;
  12. May this Christmas bring you and your family good health and happiness always. (Never thought this gift would turn back to me like this)
  13. I love the Viva Elite manual. It was ton of fun. But I have faced few negative points on mine. Low front bumper which I have to keep extra careful. Manual ones didn't have ABS. But I forget those with the fun I get with the manual trans. Sadly in SL manual trans have a lesser resale value right?
  14. BTW I'm not very happy with TRX easter eggs. Like showing a T-Rex eating Raptor and showing how small a Raptor is compared to a T-Rex . I don't like vehicle manufactures disrespecting other brands like this.
  15. No idea about the Bronco but from Jeep the Mojave edition has a wider track and different tune on the suspension to do some Baja style runs. But still I don't think the 3.6v6 or 2L turbo Jeeps can keep up with the TRX or Raptor.. 😂 Maybe when the Jeep 392 comes with the 6.4Hemi can race with the TRX and Raptor.
  16. Just curious why you want to adjust? Did you change from seal beams to newer housing? Just asking since I did that to KE72 and love the new light output. Anyway.., No experience on Charade but even after adjusting headlights on my car last week I forgot which side it lowers or raise. But its nothing to be scared to touch. Just use some tape on the garage wall for reference. When turn 2 or three times the nut you will know which side is up. So what I did was; I make sure the vehicle is on a level ground using a bubble level (the same thing mason baas uses). Initially I had tape on the wall for the starting point and start turning one side. then I measure the height from ground using a good tape (I used a metal tape not the sewing tape my mom use) and match the other side. Then I did a road test. In my case i realized its was too low. Came back to garage and did the same exercise and did a road test again. In the past I used Nalaka wheel alignment center at union place to adjust the headlights. They had a tool for that. Looked a glass lens with some measurements. They pointed the arrow on the center dot on the headlight and adjust the levels. I don't know if they do the same now, Its been like 10 years ago I did that.
  17. As far as I know suspension also has a key factor. TRX and Raptor suspensions are built for faster absorbing of bumps and keep the tires back on ground fast as possible so traction is not lost vs Gladiator shocks are for slow speed rock crawling so it give lot of flex to keep tires on the ground. Again that is what I think, I could be wrong.
  18. I didn't knew about this Manual to Auto conversion before. Thought it might be good to share -
  19. Daaang...!! Insurance company would definitely cry for that claim..
  20. Boys, anybody know what is this "SSP daughter model" story?
  21. Installed the new LEDs. Light output is not bad for a LED, I guess LEDs getting better and produce light output as good as a HID. The one I bought available in eBay as well. They seem to have pretty much all bulb holder types-
  22. If you got all reflectors try with existing housings before spending on new housings. I'm going to test new LEDs soon. I ordered GTR Ultra 2 series LEDs y'day
