yeah..may be its depend on the condition of the carb, but i know several CK2s which are having carb problms. anyway its upto u.. keep in mind that there are problems like that in CK2s too...

is it a full option car..? anyway as a CK2 user i can tell its better buying a EFI model than carb model.., its really difficult to tuning carbs of this model.. trust me i know....

thanks for replies... as i expected best choice is Hilux. . i did some research about strada & hilux. what i was did is check last two months hitads& autolanka and compare prices, also last week went to see several vehicles 3strada & 2hilux. this are the result Hilux LN107 1991 59-**** :- hacked, body condition 75%, interior - bad :- 25.5lks Hilux LN106 1990 54-**** : Good Condition, body condition good, interior :- bad :- 23lks STRADA 1992 251-**** : Good condition, body condition 85%, interior :- acceptable quality :- 22.5lks STRADA 1991 58.**** Very Good Condition, Body Condition good, interior good : 23.5lks STRADA 1992 57-**** Very Good Condition, Body Condition good, interior very good : 24.5lks all those stradas are in very good condtion comparing to hilux. anyway as i saw in hitad & autolanka i should able to buy a good strada within my price tag.

If we are considering Mitsubishi L200 Strada (K-34), Toyota Hilux (LN 106) and Nissan D21 double cabs (Manu year 1990 - 1994), what would be the best choice? Mainly i'm considering Maintenance Cost, Spare parts availability , Handling and comfortability. My budget will be 19 - 22lks and i'm not considering about resale value. Also mostly welcome if there any suggestions as well. thanks

same experience here.., 2years ago he took 6500/= for replacing carb kit but problem doesn't solved, then again he told me to i should replace the carb and fix a carb for 15000 and failed again. he promised to refund the money but again took 1500/= as a labour charge. i think carb banda or his son is not the best guy for carbs anymore. there are lot of good guys out there... after all i took my car to ranga @ automirage and he did a great job, i can recomned him for lancer carbs but no idea about other vehicles.

bought a Malaysian Sub for 8500/=, good sound quality..i can recommend it , anyway if i was you i'll definitely going for a 2nd hand sub, u can easily find one for 4000 - 5000. check sri lankan classified web sites and sunday papers...

i found 4d56 T engines from several places and all of them are above 2.25lks and also i found a newly overhauled 4d55 for 30000/= from my friend( becos he swapped it with a 4d56 T ) . so i decide to go for it and it'll also save some money to do rest of the project. thank you very much guys really appreciate your help..

thanks guys.. anyway i found a 4d56 turbo engine for 2lk.. , is it worth for that price..? also i never thought about suspension and other upgrades. if i have to replace Gear Box, differential, brake.etc.. it will be defintly beyond my budget

hi, i have a 1983 Delica L300 which has 4D55 engine. i did an engine overhaul 7 -8 years back and now seems its time to do engine overhaul again. instead of engine overhauling i thought to swap the engine with 4d56 turbo engine. is this posible..?(my mechanic says it can be done) if it is i want to know what are the pros & cons of this...?

i dnt know about shockshobers.., but for tyres, for me its always successfull, just check the tyre very carefully before buying. some malay street guys giving 2-3 month guarantee as well.
