    AC not cooling

I have Toyota Axio 141 made in 2012. Recently the AC is not cooling optimally in day time. When internal switch is on , cooling reduces further . But when it's off to get external air, it starts cooling again though it's not optimal. I showed it to local auto electrical Centre. There was no gas leak.Compressure was ok.The tubing cools nicely. They suspected a gas block. They replaced air and gas filters and replaces HFC 134a gas. Problem still persist. Please help me with advise.
  7. Isam, value of Hybrid dies with its battery unless you replace it..If you are going to sell your Hybrid in 5 years,it would be difficult to find a buyer otherwise..,of cause you can exchange parts..If itruns with gasoline too, then there's some hope. Bumblebee.
  8. ya...Silvi has become a hybrid version.
  9. Fewdays ago in a gathering with my professional friends I asked my hybrid-owner friends, that how they were really going to sell their hybrid after 5 yrs...They didnt have a proper answer..Finally Wt I collcted was they will sell it for whatever the market that's going to appear and most probably will be under valued.
  10. Merci beaucoup Watchman...I value your advise.
  11. The hybrid cars can run with only gasoline and gasoline-electric dual mode with the battery support. My point is ,when the battery is out in 5-10yrs time, still they can run with gasoline(but no longer can be called hybrids). Cant we consider this as an advantageous point in hybrids in long term...? Open for debate........ Bumblebee
  12. WHATEVER, I suppose this is more than just a 'yes' or 'no' answer..This is a kind of survey regarding the pros and cons of buying a hybrid which has an undefinite future in reselling..Still any current hybrid user has not provided a better answer.
  13. That's the exact question I'm raising here VVTi....If there's a good answer I'm going to buy one in near future...Wt's the second hand market..?
  14. My point is one day there would be a shift to full electronic vehicles and people have to abandon the gasoline ones(may be in another 50 yrs) ,but I really do wonder the hybrid drivers today have any idea of whom to resell their vehicle..I humbly think that only a part exchange would be possible... All the hybrid owners today welcome to answer.......
  15. Watchman, I think you have got older with a seductive hybrid language to blow your own trumpet...What I seek here is wisdom from decent people. If you dont tolerate this arguement please keep aloof.Dont shit aside your commode. You have not answered whatever ,but only spreading sarcasm and insults...poor attitudes lucrative old man. Once again please answer technically to this. Do you use a series hybrid or parallel hybrid...? thanks for the conversation..please reply
  16. You have hit the nail on the head... So what will happen to hybrid owners if they want to sell their vehicles...? No one is there to buy them... I cant afford to buy a vehicle which cannot be sold.. Is there anyone who thinks otherwise..? And Don,Its understood that you cant think of the future for the current needs......But I think in real life you have to if you dont have more money to play around..
  17. To "the new me" Thanks for the constructive critisism...But i hope to define my words as you are so keen on them...Precision is what you are expecting I hope. 1."We" refers to common people who get a vehicle as required and sell it in need of urgent money or to buy another vehicle..Not the exceptonal people who collect vehicles and go to heaven with them. 2.Current trend-I suppose you need certain guts and risks to see a new doctor other than your family physician..But you have to do if the old one is not updated. 3.Oil prices-Its understood that the prices will be increased by the gov as crude oil has a limited supply. So without beating around the bush you can focus on this... If you are offered 5 yr old 2nd hand hybrid, for a reasonable price, would you buy it..? That was my question in simple context...I value your reply...
  18. Thanks for the creativity and thinking. We all buy a car to sell it in a right time......So I might have to sell the hybrid to someone.I should sell it with a good heart without conning. If i were offered to buy a 2nd hand hybrid,I would think on these lines.... 1.Battery life: Toyota says they will give the life time company warranty for the battery pack..10yrs or 100000 miles(160km).. .And no warranty for user defects..god knows what..it costs $3000-$5000 to replace a battery...and further says that the battery module replacement can be done for a lesser price. They are working on the Li-iron battery which would have an extended capacity but may be mor costly. 2.Sophisticated electric circuit failure: Which is unlikely but could be expected. Its not to demean my Axio..but in sometime we have to go for the current trend...They say that in 2015 there will be a tipping point where the fuel prices at a stake and people might have to go for other options invariably...Gov might have focused on that aspect. I think a lot among us go with the trend without doing a survey on it...data on hybrid 2nd hand market is pretty less. Bumblebee.
  19. Im using a Toyota Axio.Wish to sell it and buy a new hybrid. But i wonder about its 2nd hand market.I've never heard of anyone using a second hand one.. In my opinion hybrid is more sophisticated and worth driving for its minimal fuel expenses. But on the otherhand its more like a computer and vulnerable to electronic damage and the battery is expensive;Further more, its said that long distance travel is not worthy than the short distance one. The current gov budget proposal is more towards the supportin of the hybrids. So I hope more will be used in future and options would be available. So is it worth to buy a hybrid regardless of the second hand value..? I value your reply.. Bumblebee
