  7. Thilak, Pls. be kind enough to tell me how much it cost you .CVT oil and labour respectively.
  8. It is impossible to remove all CVT oil using drain nut itself.Only 10% can be removed. So what about other 90%. Do you refer Toyota 141 ATF oil or Toyota 141 CVT oil ?
  9. Thank you very much Thilak, Did they dismantled the CVT box and fill cvt oil ? Do you think service interval for ATF and CVT are equal ? Said 40,000 km.
  10. Previous occation one member pointed out that Toyota owner's manual does not state anything about CVT oil change intervel. And also no dipstick to check CVT oil level as with old ATF box.

    New Car

Don't buy one that has VVTi engine again.
  18. If you vist few garages you will not buy any japs. OT- If you stay few hours in the Abans service center or any other you will not buy a lcd tv. If people used to visit relevent service center before buying ,those sellers have to close their shops. There is no item in the world that is 100% ok.
  19. Japanese too. Those safety features are now prove just as marketing tricks in the practical side. I might be wrong but for example take a toyota vitz,They use fiber and thin metal sheets to make it and to fool buyers they fix 8 air bags.
  20. Yes it is obvious. There would be a good chance to be survived if someone gets thrown out of a modern papadam like vehicle.
  21. This is an exceptional case . And thousands of other users have no such complains within few months..And ,ofcourse I feel sorry for him. These cars are being marketed for the low income group. Most people can't buy Japs hence Indian cars become the best alternative for years.
  22. It seems you have messed up some little things and blame a good car.Just find out the real problem first. You can go Alawatta associates at Battaramulla and get things sorted out.And do the repairs at there or at the agents.
