  1. I had the same vibration problem with my Fit Aria 2007 model with CVT. I replaced the CVT oil with original "Nippon CVT OIL" and vibration issue has gone. CVT isn't bad until you do the servicing at correct time. Make sure you use the original CVT oil and do not use oil exchanging machine to do that.
  2. Havoline ATF-J for CVT gearbox isn't it? Mobil also having some compatible oils for CVTs. CVT is a very good gearbox I have ever seen. Make sure you change CVT oils at correct time and get the recommendation for agent.
  3. Helli Guys, Yes I'm totally agree with civicferio. I'm also using a Fit aria which has CVT gear box and realize cvt is better than normal auto. It need to change CVT oils for each 20000km but I know sometimes it's bit difficult to find Honda CVT Oils in here(Stafford & Teck got no stock)(They also use Nippon oils manufactured in Thailand). I had to wait for two months to get 4L of cvt oil & cost 8000/=. @Ralph- Someone told me there is a place in Kurunegala who imports CVT oils directly. So if you need to change it urgently will try to contact them.
  4. I have been using a Mazda Demio for 6 years. It's Mazda demio 5 door hatchback 2001 model, Automatic transmission. It's almost a good car, I changed CV joints one year back..that's all & servicing in each 5000km & ATF changed in each 40000km. In performance like pickup, speeding non of other hatchbacks can compare with demios. It does around 10km per L in city limit with good speed. Parts also available.(Not that much expensive) 2001 Market value between 13.5-15.5
  5. Allion 260 also comes with CVT. Honda Fit aria/City famous for CVTs bcoz they came to sri lanka market around 2005. I saw 260 allion (KL no) in a garage with completely damaged cvt gear box caused by incompatible transmission oil filled by a service station. And also they used oil exchanger to change the oil.
  6. CVT gear boxes are problematic if you don't do proper maintenance. It should replace the CVT oil once in 20,000 Kms and you have to be very careful when you select CVT oils. There was a post generated by me 2 or 3 months ago regarding vibration issue in my Honda fit aria car. It has been solved by replacing the correct CVT Oil. It cost Rs 2000.00 per liter in Colombo but I found for Rs 980.00 in Kurunegala. If you plan to buy a car with a CVT gearbox, it's better you have a test drive with an expert and ask for maintenance record. Check whether is there any vibration with first pickup. I think CVT is a good technology which has more performance than the normal Auto. Don't use oil exchanger to change CVT oils and don't use ATF oil too. I replaced CVT oil in a garage......no problems at all.
  7. I bought FIT ARIA 2007 model for 2.8M just after the tax reduction. FIT ARIA is a very good car in present market bcoz it does more than 12Km per litter even in fast drive. Engine, gear box, body condition and all the other things are OK and also you should make sure to do regular servicing. Due to price increase in Japan now people selling FIT ARIAs for 3.0-3.2M. My personal recommendation to go for a 1.5cc sedan type bcoz secondhand market of wagons like Wingrods are bit lower than sedans.
  8. nop I used it for three weeks but I didn't face any pro (no idea abt the law) . You should have a copy of your registration book, original license n insurance with you
  9. I bought FitAria 2007 model for 2.8M three months back and with the cost increase in Japan now its going between 3.1-3.4. My opinion is to have a Automatic transmission model and it does 10-11km per L within city limit and more than 12 for long distance. FitAria origin in Thailand and running in Japan
  10. For what kind of issues you are looking for an expert? (Engine, gearbox or any other mechanical sections) I know one guy in Kurunegala who was working for Toyota. Now a days he is doing his own garage and I can recommend him for all new Japanese vehicles. please write to me on [email protected] for contact details. Thanks

  12. Which petrol is better for new cars? 90 or 95 ??
  13. Thanks for everyone, Stafford will have CVT oils after 15th of this month. I'm just waiting until they arrive their stock and do the oil replacement at Stafford. Thanks
  14. Greeting All, I have a problem with my new Honda FitAria 2006 car and I need valuable comments from Honda users There is a vibration with the first pickup, and then car is running smoothly. I'm facing this issue with the first pickup and there's no any vibration until it comes to 0 Kmph. What is this vibration? I feel something wrong with Automatic transmission oils. I didn't change the oils before, bcoz still the total millage is below than 20,000.00. And also there is no place to buy Honda CVT oils at present. Highly appreciate your comments. Thank you,
  15. Does anyone knows where I can buy original Honda mud flaps (Splash guards) for Honda Fit Aria 2006 Model??
