1. overall its a pretty decent car, comes with a 1.7L engine pushing 130 odd horsepower and since this particular car is a manual should be fun to drive. However if you decide to go with an automatic make sure the CVT fluid has been changed at proper intervals.
2. Alright, thanks for the info
3. Thanks for the suggestion but the last thing I need is for her to be stranded because she forgot to charge the car! and the overall look of the thing doesn't help either. I assume that you are using a fit hybrid as well? Is the battery assist constantly working? and I'm guessing the fit hybrid dosent have a full EV mode
4. Yes, probably around 10-30kms
5. First of all sorry to bring up an old thread and hope everyone is doing good. So I was looking around for a new-ish car for my mom to use and seems like the only option within budget is a 2013 honda fit hybrid gp1/4 (needs to be a hatchback). Problem is the car will be only used 3-4 times a week mostly and that too for short distance trips, so i was wondering if this is going to affect the already 3 year old hybrid battery capacity in any way? Only reason i want to go with a hybrid is because there are no other hatchbacks with a relatively new YOM in the market for that price. Cheers!
6. Saw the same car advertised on the same site by the previous owner, was advertised with 140,000kms on the clock. Meanwhile OP check this out http://www.autolanka.com/cars/toyota/avalon/2000-toyota-avalon-pronard-colombo-196623.html

11. Thanks Schiffer, that does look good i guess. Thanks for the suggestion gummy Will do dav but still in a dilemma about what colour to choose. Car looks great jadey! thanks for the suggestion The stock alloys look great but some idiot who used the car before myself had taken them out, unfortunately.
12. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Schiffer" data-cid="240523" data-time="1369320063">
if i were you and had a black car, id do something like this

red is not really my cup of tea schiffer and the car is more of a purple colour, not black. now im thinking matte gun metal grey as magnum suggested.
13. kandy-mahiyangana road. this was at the viewpoint.
14. Guys thought of changing the colour of my wheels to gun metal grey or white, and thinking of a gloss finish rather than a matte and he car is currently sitting on some stupid a$$ wheels as one of the previous owners had changed the original alloys. :/ Would gun metal grey look better than white? I've attached a photo of the car and it would be nice if any photoshop expert could do some computer jilmart and change the colour of the wheels. and btw, is plastidip available here in SL? Cheers!
